From the moment Asuka stepped foot into an NXT ring, she had star and champion written all over her. After her defeat of Bayley, she tore through every conceivable and credible woman NXT had to offer; Nia Jax, Eva Marie (I said conceivable), Mickie James, and Ember Moon. She is the only undefeated NXT Champion and she raised the bar in terms of championship quality matches when people were in doubt about who could carry the NXT banner after the departure of the Horsewomen.
