Bound for Glory Results: Gail Kim wins the Knockouts Championship, Brandi Rhodes makes TNA Debut

After being inducted to the TNA Hall of Fame, Gail Kim would end her Bound for Glory night by winning the Knockouts title for a record setting six times, tying the most reigns with Angelina Love.

Prior to the match, defending Knockouts Champion Maria Kanellis stated that her hand was still broken and could not compete but Allie corrected Maria, documenting that Maria is cleared to wrestle.

Gail took matters to her own hand and chased Maria around the ring until the champion was able to land cheap shot in.The Knockouts met in the ring, where Gail removed her hand cast to commence the match. Maria wouldn’t go down without a fight, managing to hit Gail with a Spine Buster.

Husband Mike Bennett tried to interfere by handing Maria her removed cast as a weapon but to avail. Gail then easily put Maria away with an Eat Defeat to win the gold.

Post match, Mike Bennett threatened to shut down Bound for Glory with Maria but was stopped by a debuting Cody and wife Brandi Rhodes, who cleared the ring the Heel couple and celebrated their TNA debut with a kiss in the ring.
