Tonight on Impact Wrestling, a Knockouts rivalry is settled in the ring as Alisha Edwards makes her singles Impact Wrestling debut against Angelina Love.

Hell hath no fury like a woman who is defending her husband’s honor. That’s exactly what fiery newcomer to the Knockouts, Alisha Edwards has in mind and she finally has her chance next week when she steps inside the six sided ring against 6-time Knockouts Champion, Angelina Love. While technically it will be a sanctioned match, this fight has been building steam for weeks, ever since Angelina blindsided Alisha while the two watched Alisha’s husband, Eddie Edwards, battle Lashley for the World Championship. One week later, on the February 16th episode of IMPACT on POP, Alisha tried to save her husband from Angelina and Davey, but once again caught by a knockout blow from Angelina and forced to watch her husband on the receiving end of a violent attack with a steel chair. In what has been a whirlwind two-plus months for Alisha and Eddie Edwards; Alisha becoming a full-time member of the Knockout roster, Eddie going to battle week after week with his former brother and tag partner, Davey Richards, it was last night after a hard fought battle by Eddie against Matt Sydal, when Davey and Angelina stormed the IMPACT Zone once again, that the 5’ firecracker, Alisha, had had enough and finally took matters into her own hands. And so the stage is finally set, as announced by Karen Jarrett, it will be Angelina Love vs Alisha Edwards in the six-sided ring, one-on-one, next week on IMPACT. While many may feel that Alisha is in over her head going against one of the founding members of the Knockouts and record-tying six-time Knockouts Champion, Angelina Love, there’s something to be said for a woman who is driven by purpose and emotion. Alisha has been forced watch her husband go through hell at the hands of Angelina and Davey. Her desire to make Angelina pay for everything she’s done in recent months could be enough to secure her a victory…. Or will it? We will all find out next week on another can’t miss episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

And finally, Diamanté and the rest of LAX will hold a funeral to pay their final respects to The Decay after brutally defeating them in a street fight two weeks ago.

It has been nearly two weeks since the brutal battle between LAX and Decay inside the IMPACT Zone that many say was the end of Decay and more specifically, the end of Crazzy Steve. A street fight between these two teams could easily have been anyone’s game to win; familiar territory for LAX and a devilish playground that Decay more than welcomed. In the end, however, it was LAX, their winning numbers game and willingness to sacrifice their own bodies in order to compromise others, that were victorious over the demented members of Decay. Just as if it were another night, another match and any normal tag team that they defeated, LAX moved past the street fight with Decay and waged war on any and all competitors for their Tag Team Titles, claiming that they decimated Decay and there was nothing left of the demonic trio to concern themselves with. And so, two weeks after one of the most savage street fights in IMPACT history, LAX is planning, and celebrating, the burial of Decay once and for all. Claims that their funeral will be this Thursday night are circulating and if we have learned one thing about this new version of LAX, it’s that if they make a promise, they are sure to deliver.
