Tonight at Extreme Rules, Alexa Bliss  retained her Raw Women’s Title against Bayley in quick fashion.

During the Kendo Stick on a Pole match, the champion started off by mocking Bayley to retrieve the kendo stick hanging from a corner but instead grabbed the challenger by the hair and slammed her to the mat.

After some back and forth action, the women would meet at the corner from where the kendo stick hung and race to see who could grab it first. Bayley was able to get her hands on it first but dropped it in the middle of the ring as she and Alexa crashed to the outside ring.

Another race to the kendo stick commenced, which Bayley was able to win again after taking out Alexa out with a back suplex on the outside floor.

Despite retrieving the kendo stick first on two occasions, Bayley never used the weapon as Alexa was able to cut Bayley off with a spear that caused Bayley to drop the Kendo stick. Alexa took advantage of this, picked up the kendo stick herself and beat Bayley down with it.

After enduring some punishment, Bayley was able to hit the Bayley-to-Belly but it wasn’t enough to give Bayley the win. Instead a DDT and a few more kendo shots from Alexa allowed her to pick up the win and retain the gold.
