I pretty much figured Lana was going to go face. It seemed like WWE wasn’t sure what they wanted her to be judging by her debut and her interview on talking smack. As well I pretty much figured that she’ll have everything Eva Marie was promised to have. Lana and Eva do look a like but just different hair colors and a few different features.

    • cute white cat

Don’t even compare Lana with FlopEva. She’s a million times better than her.

    • Mark

Lana is way too good in character and on the mic for them to commit blasphemy and turn her into a bland face. So happy she is a heel! Thank God. Her Talking Smack interview was hilarious.

      • “And then I cross the ocean and look at me now!”

        • Mark

“No seriously Rene, look at me.” LOL!!!

      • YonceLuvsDivas

I think Sheamus more meant for a face role. You can still work the mic good as a face. Not everybody has to be heel in order to bring some good mic skills.

        • Mark

I feel you I just prefer a funny, cocky heel who is great on the mic. Hope Lana can bring it in the ring too. We’ll see

    • Wicked Emma

Lana do not look like Eva Marie.

  • Lushluke

Wish Eva was still here. Also the top 10 tables thing was amazing Lita falling from the ladder was number one ?

    • ssilva872

      Agreed.

That video should have gotten its own article on here since it was good and could have lead to more discussion only on it.

      • Lushluke

Also tori putting bubba thru a table on the outside. Literally never seen it happen

        • ssilva872

I thought that was a great one and deserved to be # 3 iirc.

Tori was so underused. She should have been WWF Women’s Champion in 1999 and at least challenged Lita for it in the summer of 2000 (Lita needed to get revenge after that sneak attack and vicious Tori Suplex..).

          • KatyaMenelli

She was actually supposed to feud with Lita before she got the title, but she got injured.

          • ssilva872

Ugh I hate injuries they ruin everything! :'(

  • trishlita721

I don’t know why it’s taken wwe so long to get lana to wrestle she’s managed for four years.

    • Neutral

Because she didn´t have enough training and because of her schedule she couldn´t go to NXT.

      • Joseph

Well for Lana this is her shot if she fails she gonna be stuck being a manager for the rest of her WWE life.

      • trishlita721

It’s a shame she should already be at a certain wrestler level years ago.

    • Raekon

Because they finally realized that dropping someone without training inside a ring like in Eva Maries case, it won’t help anyone grow as a Performer but rather make People hate the Person which actually happen. On the top of that and thankfully most of all, Lana was too busy Managing Rusev so she had no time for feuds within the womens Division.
Now that he is injured and recovering she got the Train as also perform in NXT live Events so she can grow as a Performer before she appears on the main roster.
That’s what they should had done with Eva Marie aswell in my opinion.
Train her well first, put her in a ring after.

      • trishlita721

True I agree I just feel that four years is allittle late same with Eva she would have the odd match disappear then reinvent herself but as years pass she shouldve already been at a certain level.

  • MK126

Well what did the WWE expect from that segment? Of course it got a negative response cause it was a shitty segment. Their feud was completely one sided so im glad it ended ASAP

  • Windyhawaii

Eva is gone, she deleted total divas cast star from her insta bio AND WWE SuperStar.

That should say enough about her status with WWE

    • Jouey

      My life is over! ????

    • Miguel Orona Rodríguez

I think she has talent for make-up, modeling, marketing and she’ll be successful but I’m not going to miss her in WWE.

      • Windyhawaii

I enjoyed her in WWE, but I also won’t miss her. She’s been gone long enough for me to just not really care what happens either way

        • Miguel Orona Rodríguez

I honestly don’t even feel she had a run in WWE, not even in NXT. She had a great run in TD but that’s about it. One championship match at NXT, a few matches when AJ Lee was feuding with all of the cast and those SD segments. There’s nothing to miss, I’m sad we didn’t got to see a real match from her.

          • Windyhawaii

i was sad to not see anything come out of her SmackDown character, as i thought that was her best character to date and she really seemed like she was having fun with that role too. But like i said, it has been awhile since then and i really don’t care now, and honestly i don’t think Eva does either anymore.

          • Miguel Orona Rodríguez

Eva came out with a character and it was a hit because she was mocking what everyone believes about her. Sadly she didn’t got the chance to wrestle and I’m sure SmackDown was going to explore a lot with her. She had this thing that made everyone so mad. WWE didn’t knew how to use it, specially because they wanted her to be a wrestle. She could have been an impactful manager, authority figure, anything character wise could have worked (excep being face). She’s not going to be missed due to lack of showing, just like Emma. She hardly had any runs with the main roster, if she leaves, that’s it.

  • conan_kun

Even there’s negative reaction to the poorly-received “This is Your Life” segment, they should not let Bayley look so dumb and weak and get squashed by Alexa at Extreme Rules without give Alexa any Kendo stick hit, act like they put all the blame on Bayley for this horrible feud.

  • ThePeaceVibe.

How are they going to end a feud over a segment that was made up by their own shitty writing? LoL I wasn’t a fan of the feud but that just seems completely unfair.

    • Joseph

Shitty booking ruin this feud we know what Alexa and Bayley can do but nope we got this crap instead.

Yes. They should have given them a chance atleast at ERules to prove they arnt shitty :/

  • Super Mateo

So, Raw’s incompetent writers create an awful segment for the Bayley/Alexa match, and they respond to how awful is was by cutting their match short so that could be awful too? And then they wonder why Raw’s ratings are tanking…

There’s nothing wrong with ending the feud. In NXT, Bayley helped pull some quality matches out of Alexa, while Alexa was able to cover Bayley’s weakness on a microphone. However, there’s nothing Alexa or Bayley can do to hide the God awful writing and it looks like Bayley is the one that’s going to pay the price. Bayley is the one that can draw a completely new fanbase in, but they’re failing to take advantage of it. Today’s girls may not be the audience Vince expected to have, but they are tomorrow’s women that will be buying seats and merchandise for themselves and their kids. They need to catch this audience now.

SD is building toward an MITB match at the moment, with a title match to go along with it. Meanwhile, Raw can’t even make time to put all of its women on screen. Sasha and Bayley, two of the most popular women, didn’t even go to the ring at all last Monday. Raw needs to dump all of its writers. It’s not the 3 hour format that’s the problem.

  • Ruby is so hardcore, I’ll to see her on a extreme rules match against Nikki Cross.
Thank god Eva Is gone of the company, such a shame WWE invest so much money on that beautiful face and sexy Body. Now We had Lana’s first and could be her last match to impress.
Bianca Blair is growing inside of me, want to see her singles debut on an episode of NXT roster.

  • Seraphina Rosenhart

Wow, okay, so WWE puts Bayley and Alexa in a horrible segment that was destined to fail and then, because of how badly it went, they cut the match that these two should have had? That’s bullshit. WWE needs to get their shit together when it comes to booking. How about never having a “This is your life” segment ever again, because it seems to have only worked once in history, and that was with the Rock and Mankind.

  • Aye Mate

The laughable reality of WWE abbreviating the feud between Bayley and Alexa is that, rather than reassess the way they poorly stitch together driving storylines, they decide to punish their performers for being unable to turn shit into fertiliser. How about hiring competent (or even more female) creative writers? Assigning agents to assist more in structuring matches? Devote actual time to booking what the fuck is going on in the division? In rendering the title match at Extreme Rules little more than a disposable squash, they’ve completed the deconstruction of one of their most genuinely popular heroes; Bayley deserves more than this, she really does.

I’m curious more than anything to see where Lana goes from here. Her popularity has always been the undeniable sign of someone who’s been able to convince audiences of her character; because of that, I can see Lana excel equally as either face or heel. In the former she could be endearingly tongue in cheek; as the latter she can be deliciously evil. Again, I just hope the wrestling meets the charisma halfway.

  • StraightUpBitch

WWE writers, producers and bookers are pathetic. They are literally putting the blame on Alexa and Bayley despite the fact that they’re not in control of the segment at all. Shame, as previous matches between them showed that they can do magic together yet it was sacrificed because of a mistake WWE made. And Vince, Steph and Hunter wonder why no one takes this whole ‘let’s celebrate equality by burying all of our women’s division at least once a year and while we support a bigoted, sexist racist who most of our women have come out against other than MJ’ (I know I bring that up loads, but we can’t sleep on it. Not anymore)

  • Raekon

Typicall WWE. Kevin Dunn and the writers screwing things up and alexa/bayley are getting the blame. Seriously, These guys need to GO and nuality persons need to be hired. Blaming hte performers for something the Management screwed up won’t make things better. Enough is enough Vince.

    • Aye Mate

Arguably one could assert that Bayley was being picked on from the get-go: the material all the way through her feud with Alexa was clearly designed to embarrass her, and squashing her only seems to reinforce the impression that she has heat with someone big backstage. There was absolutely no way that even two talents like Bayley and Alexa could rescue a feud founded on such profoundly shit writing though.

      • Raekon

It’s the typically childish behaviour of some idiots in the Management that are acting like butthurt little Kids that want’s to take “revenge” on a Talent, trying to embarass them on national/international television, only to Showcase their “power” over them, not recognizing that they are actually making fools of themselves and the Company as a whole instead of the talent. They might think that the ‘”General fan” is too dumb to understand that but thankfully we can think further then them and appreaciate that Alexa and Bayley tried to do the best they could out of this shitty booking instead of blaming them for that.
It’s like the whole fart gimmick they gave to Natalya a few years ago that was cringeworthy to say the least.

        • Aye Mate

For me, it’s more misogynistic than anything. Alexa insinuating Bayley’s supposed virginity with the whole “never been kissed” jibe was particularly an awkward message to send out to all the many young adoring fans of Bayley. This is why I question how many females are within WWE’s creative cabinet. 90% of their narratives all seem straight from a particular type of man who has a very thin perception of women.

          • KatyaMenelli

Omg I been saying the same damn thing! This whole storyline has shown how misogynistic WWE really is.

  • Don ?

Just a bunch of old men with ego issues working backstage.

    • KatyaMenelli

      Right!?

  • Shan

Bianca Blair and Montez Ford make a seriously gorgeous couple.
