  • The fact that Madison Rayne might be actually done with GFW, brings me to tears. Recently I was thinking that she is basically one of the longest working people over there. I’m hoping that the rumours are not true. I’m still waiting for The Killa Queen to be back.

    • Windyhawaii

She hasn’t done anything since 2015. It would make sense for her to leave, enter the MYC of even possibly WWE’s main roster

  • James Winters

I hope Madison is in the MYC.
Are there enough girls to have a womens royal rumble?

and i am interested to see what the dixie interview is about. never thought id see her with wwe anything

    • Marshy

With the women from the main roster Raw and Smackdown, NXT, women who have already sign with the WWE and some of the women from the tournament that we shall see by the time that January comes around if they have enough women to be on the very first all women’s Royal Rumble.

      • James Winters

i hope so, i hate how in the 2k games you cant even have womens royal rumbles. maybe this will change it haha.

  • Mr. Giem

Becky Lynch is indeed the greatest babyface on both rosters.

  • YonceLuvsDivas

Omg yesss!!! I would so love for a women’s royal rumble. It doesn’t have to be 30 of them out there but at least enough women to keep time going. Maybe 25 women could work. With all women being cleared and active on the main roster it should be a good amount. And throw in a couple NXT superstars who are popular enough to participate.

    • Raekon

Even a 20 women would had enough room for all the main roster women + a few additions from NXT and legends. :)
I really hope they will pull it off and that it will also be good!

  • Summer_Slay #GiveSummerAChance

Madison honestly didnt do much since her heel turn in 2015 and think its for the best. Dont get me wrong she used to be one of the best KO Impact has ever had and one of my favorites. But nowdays Impact needs active girls on the roster and they only have a total of 7 of them and a bunch of part time girls who get paid only if they are in tapings such as Rebel. I think they should cut the part timers and focus on getting 2-3 permanet girls and invest in them. Because you can only do that much with 7 girls on the roster.

Also Brooke confirmed on FB that she’s not under a contract and she has no plans to return to Impact any time soon.

And my prayers go to Maria Menounos. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor. :(

“WWE ranks the first-ever Women’s Money in the Banks match number nine on their list of ‘The 10 best matches of 2017 (so far)’. ( WWE.com)”

I really can’t… This match was only listed for historical purposes and to make their revolution look good. This match was average and fail in comparaisons of multiple women’s matches that happened this year including Ember Moon vs Asuka, Asuka vs Nikki Cross LWS match, Charlotte vs Bayley at Royal Rumble and Raw main event and even matches like Natalya vs Nikki Bella or Mickie James vs Becky I felt were much better. Not a top noteworthy performance in 2017 male or female.

    • Aye Mate

      Agreed.

Asuka’s single matches with Ember Moon and Nikki Cross, plus Becky’s single matches with Mickie James, are all front pack for MOTY thus far in my opinion. I’d even go so far as to say Natalya and Nikki Bella were a lot more enthralling than the first MITB match.

    This part honestly… ??????
“The Becky Lynch we currently see on SmackDown Live is undeniably a fiery ball of positive energy. But just how “good” is The Lasskicker, though? Surely her run since the call up in July 2015 has been universally on the side of light, and frequently she has come across as the most pure character on all of WWE television. The sadly online-only promo she cut after Mickie James interfered in Becky’s steel cage title match with Alexa Bliss last January is almost certainly the most heartfelt and best babyface promo in the entire company for a number of years—but also hints at an eternal inner struggle.

Mind-blowing that this clip was not broadcasted over and over on the blue brand. Moreover, it’s a strange fact that some of Becky Lynch’s greatest work has been in online exclusive interviews. Presumably the creative direction should stress including those moments on WWE’s actual television programing, but even here we see the interplay between character and performer.”

Fantastic article. Becky Lynch is definitely one of the best babyface of the century.

  • Jo9834

I feel at this point Becky Lynch is the only one of the 4HW who has yet to have her career defining ‘match or 5 star moment, she truly deserves it as her consistency in character and portrayal have been top notch. I would love to see her go heel sometime this year, it makes perfect sense for her character.

After Gail leaves, I think I will lose all interest in Impact and GFW to be fair…until Paige debuts that is which is inevitable at this point it seems.

    • Wrestling.fan.from.France

I think that match happened with Sasha Banks in the sense that it was pretty much that match that allowed her to “get there” with Sasha, Bayley and Charlotte at the time. It’s that moment where WWE and fans saw her huge potential as a big female star. At the same time, this match didn’t have enough spotlight on it compared to many others.
On the main roster tho, she has yet to have a REALLY great women’s match. Her match with Charlotte and Mickie weren’t up to THAT level, while still being quality matches. While she was involved in the triple threat with Charlotte and Sasha, a really awesome singles match is something she has yet to have on the MR.

  • Aye Mate

The Cageside piece on Becky Lynch is beautifully written and rightfully sycophantic towards a very underappreciated performer. BUT, in my heart of hearts, a lot of the detail in Becky’s character hasn’t come from any real emphasis on WWE’s part. It’s been the little inflections and nuance Becky’s managed to sneak in on a weekly basis. Now granted it allows the audience to completely interpret all of that in their own way, which is testament to the connection she has with viewers, but the ballad of Becky Lynch’s career is that she’s nowhere near the booking level she should be on the strength of her contributions alone. Becky’s heart and passion shines in everything she does and WWE refusing to capitalise on it in every single opportunity she gives them is sad.

  • ?K . A . T ?

If Madison is gone from GFW I really hope she is in the Mae Young Classic. She’s damn talented!

  • Yes! I agree with that amazing article and Becky is one heel of a character, the ultimate baby face. It was about time for Madison Rayne to leave, she had a great career there but she was barely used in recent years. Really hope WWE make that Women’s RR match possible next year.
