On this day in history:

August 22nd, 2015 | For nearly two years, Bayley was seen as NXT’s ultimate underdog, coming short of winning the NXT Women’s Championship whenever the opportunity came about. At NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, Bayley earned yet another opportunity at the title against the champion Sasha Banks. In what was billed the co-main event of the show, both women were taken to their absolute limit. In the end, it was the combination of a reverse top rope Frankensteiner and a Bayley-to-Belly that would allow Bayley to unseat Sasha to become the new champion. The match would go on rank high on many lists, including number one on WWE’s list of “Greatest NXT Match” and number two on WWE’s “Greatest Match of the Year 2015”.

  • And two years later, they were booed in the same building by the same kind of fans who wouldn’t cheer for anybody else for the longest time.

    Ungrateful assw!pes.

Didn’t the same thing happen to a lot of the wrestlers?

      • Unfortunately. Fans these days want their favorite to get to the top too quickly. Once they are, they lose interest.

It’s been going on for years now. They’ve done this with a lot of more popular wrestlers over the years.

          • Considering how popular both women were not that long ago, it suuuuuuucks.

Yeah, but that’s not so much the fans fault, but WWE’S (Vince) fault. That shows you what BAD BOOKING can do to ANYONE.

Still the best womens match in wwe history. And it’s sad looking back now. Especially bayley. They managed to do it. I never thought it would be possible. But the old bastard pulled it off. He managed to turn bayley from being the world’s favourite underdog to being hated.

And the look what happened. The great Monday night Raw managed to destroy both women ?

What’s with that smiling emoji? That’s a terrible thing
