On this week’s Impact Wrestling, TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim made her return to Impact Wrestling since Bound for Glory – where she won her seventh Knockouts Championship in what was her final match with the company.
During an in-ring segment alongside Impact Wrestling broadcaster Jeremy Borash and fellow Knockout Allie, Gail addressed the fans with a farewell speech and announcement that she was relinquishing the Knockouts Title.
In her emotional farewell speech, Gail recalled growing up in Canada with a love for wrestling and desire to pursue a career in it. She took a moment to thank the women who helped pave the road for her, name dropping Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Awesome Kong and Taryn Terrell.
In closing, Gail says her heart is full and of peace with her decision to retire but is excited to see what is next for her life and what is next for the generation of Knockouts who will continue to carry the legacy of their division.
