Baszler starts the match toying with Sane, shoving her face. Sane brushes it off and brings right forearms to Baszler. She runs the ropes but gets knocked down by a shoulder block. They exchange grapples until Baszler manages to lock in a side headlock.
Sane escapes by driving Baszler to a corner. Sane lands on her feet after missing her high flying attack but manages to roll Baszler up for a two count. She runs the ropes again for sliding elbow but Baszler gets stops Sane in her track by getting the bootup. Baszler strikes Sane down with knee strikes as we head to break.
When we return, Baszler is in control and begins to work on Sane’s left arm. Baszler whips Sane to a corner to hit a running high knee and adds gut wrench suplex that earns a two count.
Baszler continues to target Sane’s left arm with a double wrist lock. Sane avoids a corner knee attack and wins control of the match by taking Baszler down with a spear. Sane follows up with a sliding D and flying top rope forearm.
Baszler kicks out of Sane’s pin attempt and sets Sane up for a suplex but Sane counters with a spinning back fist.Sane clubs the top rope again but Baszler comes in with a roundhouse kick. Baszler brings Sane down to the mat via Kirifuda Driver that forces Sane to tap out.

Post-match, Baszler tells the commentary team that the NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon is a coward and that she was calling her out.
The NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas closes out this week’s show alongside his business partner Zelina Vega. Vega refers to Almas as the greatest NXT Champion in history and adds a “Mr. 4-0” tagline after he defeated Johnny Gargano for the fourth time last week.
Vega says that they don’t care for NXT Universe’s respect and that, unlike most women, she doesn’t feed off her man’s success, she creates them. After their gloating ways, the pair head to the back but witness a break breakout between NXT Superstars Aleister Black and Killian Dain.
