During the opening of Raw, Stephanie McMahon addressed last week’s event that involved herself, Triple H, Kurt Angle and Rousey. She praised all of Angle’s accomplishments as an athlete but noted the importance of him having a steady job to pay the bills. This brought out Rousey to the ring.
McMahon welcomed Rousey, who referred to McMahon as a “bully boss”, and tried to make amends with her by reminding her that she has a guaranteed match at WrestleMania as long as it wasn’t against a Champion.
Rousey revealed that one clause in her contract was being able to choose her opponent. When she named McMahon as her WrestleMania opponent, Triple H came out to argue that McMahon was the Commissioner of Raw and not an active member of the WWE roster. Kurt Angle intervenes to remind The Authority that their second contract lists them as WWE Superstars and officially books the Mixed Tag Team match.
The announcement led to a brawl between Triple H and Angle, ending with Angle locking the Ankle Lock on Triple H and Rousey laying McMahon with a Samoan Drop.
WrestleMania 34 takes place live Sunday, April 8th on the WWE Network.
