Ronda Rousey’s debut for WWE has caused a stir so far. There was so much back and forth over whether or not she’d be coming and then after she “overshadowed” Asuka‘s win at the Royal Rumble, fan reactions were mixed.
After saying she was now a ‘full-time’ member of the roster, she failed to appear at the Raw after the Royal Rumble.
The past two weeks, however, began to build an angle for the former UFC star. Then WWE began advertising her, promising she’d appear on the road to WreslteMania, assuredly to hype her debut match.
However, she failed to appear at all last night and instead WWE fans were treated to this video package:
Someone in the audience also said they were given candy in lieu of her absence:

Now WWE has quietly retracted their statements of her appearing during Raw on the road to WrestleMania at all. The article that appeared on WWE.com promoting her appearances now re-directs to Ronda’s Superstar page. It also appears as though the company deleted the announcement posts on social media.
Several other Superstars were no-shows last night, including Brock Lesnar, the Undertaker, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon.
While the card is subject to change, it’s still a peculiar turn of events. No word yet on when she’s expected to appear again.
