Tonight on Monday Night Raw, WWE Superstar Paige officially announced her in-ring retirement. Word of Paige’s in-ring retirement first surfaced in January of this year after the two-time Divas Champion suffered stinger during a Live House the month prior.

After Mandy Rose managed to pick up a win over Sasha Banks, Paige took to the center of the ring to say that it was hard for her to at the sidelines at WrestleMania 34. She officially confirmed that due to a neck injury, she would no longer be able to compete as an in-ring performer.

Paige thanked her fellow WWE female Superstars for helping build the Women’s division and her family for their support. Paige then expressed her gratitude to Daniel Bryan, who made his in-ring return at WrestleMania 34 after suffering a career-ending injury and says that it gives her hope.

Paige then thanked WWE Hall of Famer Edge, who also retired due to injury, for helping show that there is life after WWE in-ring competition. Finally, she thanked the WWE Universe, who chanted “Thank You Paige” and “This is your House”, for their support and recalled winning the Divas Championship at New Orleans and will now retire from the ring in New Orleans.
