Women’s Title match added to Super Show-Down

Despite already having a SmackDown Women’s Title match booked for this year’s Hell in a Cell PPV in less than two weeks, the WWE have announced that the SmackDown Women’s Title will be on the line in a match between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch at WWE’s Super Show-Down event from Australia on Saturday, October 6th next month.

Per WWE.com:

Though it is unclear at this time who will hold the title when they reach the Land Down Under, one thing is for certain: The Queen and The Irish Lass Kicker will look to tear each other apart from the word go.

The very essence of a champion is ingrained in Charlotte’s DNA, and she is determined to remain on top of the SmackDown Women’s division. However, Becky’s hunger to regain the blue brand’s Women’s Title has triggered something vicious inside of her. From the moment she slapped Charlotte at SummerSlam, Lynch’s every word and action make it clear that she will stop at nothing to recapture the SmackDown Women’s Championship and keep it at all costs.

Other Women matches already announced for WWE’s Super-Show-Down include:

  • Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins vs. The Riott Squad
  • Asuka and Naomi vs. The IIconic

WWE’s Super Show-Down streams live on WWE Network on Saturday, October 6th, at 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT.
