On MiamiHerald.com, World Wrestling Entertainment star, Fit Finlay, was interviewed about each individual aspect within the WWE. When asked about the Diva’s Division, he had this to say:
We’ve got tremendous girls right now, we’ve got Beth Phoenix who in my opinion is the more dominant female of the whole [WWE] girl division. There’s Beth and Victoria. Ashley’s got the guts. I’ve seen her go through a lot of stuff, a lot of injuries, but she picks herself up and keeps going, and that’s what it’s all about. Keep going.
Phoenix, I believe, can be considered the most dominant female in the Division at this point due to her recent lengthy title reign. However trailing close behind her, I would have to say the current Women’s Champion, Mickie James, or Melina Perez are quite domineering aswell. To the point of Ashley, I agree entirely. Ashley does endure a ton of injuries, but she gets right back up and keeps on going.

Finlay, at one point, was the head trainer for the girls so I know how much he respects the Divas. But I disagree with Beth, yes she’s dominant but that’s the character WWE portrays her as, in terms of talent Victoria could outdo her by a mile.
As for Ashley, I guess you have to give her kudos for overcoming each injury, but injuries are far more likely if you are inexperienced in the ring.

I agree with what you said about the in-character role that Beth portrays. Just by off-air talent, I agree that Victoria would outdo her. Melina also is very skilled aswell. I would say Mickie.. but Mickie is somewhat sloppy in my opinion. But on her on-air role, I guess she would be considered “dominant” due to the fact that she has the prestigous belt around her waist.
Ashley needs to be sent to a training facility. I think if she were to stay somewhere, training her “heart out”, she wouldn’t have the quarterly injuries.
