Lilian’s Canadian Faux Pas
2 comments | Posted by MelanieRAW ring announcer, Lilian Garcia made quite the faux pas in front a very vocal Canadian crowd, last night. Lilian addressed the arena, the Air Canada Centre as the “Air America Centre” leading to a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance! Ouch.
Lilian did make it up, with what I assume would have been a beautiful rendition of “O Canada.” Canadians have always been a tough crowd for WWE; I wonder if it was really a faux pas by Lilian or if Vince put her up to it? Either way, we got our lolz.
