Wow, never did I think I’d be writing this but Kelly Kelly really delivered the goods last night on SmackDown! The ECW Diva sold incredibly well to the aggressive and impressive, Natalya in a really physical, gritty match up. Honestly, I love SmackDown! right now, I’m going to go out on a limb and even be as bold to say that Natalya is the best female worker in WWE at the moment. Why? Because her matches are always so physical, so gritty, so much fun to watch. I guess you could put it down to her training in the Dungeon, Natalya wrestles like the men in her family - and that is not a bad thing. I’m not saying she is a man, but she puts on a match like we’ve never seen from any Diva before her. From what we’ve seen of her thus far, her matches on SmackDown! have been truly intense and lots of fun to watch. There’s story telling, there’s psychology… usually with the Divas, WWE just throws them in the ring and hopes they can pull out a decent match. The Divas don’t have the same pressures as the Superstars to put on matches that tell a story, that have psychology but that is exactly what Natalya brings to the ring.
As I was saying, Kelly deserves some kudos because she sold very well and made this match believable; hardly recognisable from that slutty girl from Kelly’s Expose (and it’s one night comeback) just two years ago. Kelly’s handspring elbow on this night was much better too - I mean compare that to the infamous time she tried to use the move on Layla.
Furthermore, I like how they built up the rivalry with Michelle also, SmackDown! is getting the opportunity to do things RAW never gets to do. On RAW they just throw the girls out there, on SmackDown! you have backstage segments, “earlier in the day” segments to help build and aid the feud and that’s something that is important to the overall story. I like how this feud is kind of a slow-burner, I can’t wait for the eventual singles match… hopefully these girls will get to go at it on pay per view! Anyway, a very good match - much better than RAW this week - and well worth the watch:

I noticed that, at the beginning of the match, when Kelly was starting to make a comeback, Victoria yells out - “come on Nattie!” Oopsie
Kelly’s good when she has to sell moves, but if she actually has to DO them… she has a long time yet until she’s going to be able to pull that side of her in-ring abilities off.
I love Natalya. I’d love to see her get the championship. She’s by far the best diva on SD right now. I would really like to see her face Beth Phoenix at some point. They would be amazing in the ring together. And yes Kelly has come a long way. She might just have a good future ahead of her.

I loved this match!
The aggression, the intensity the all round skill that Natalya displayed was great.
Kelly Kelly did everything that was required of her and sold everything that Nattie threw at her.
I’d like her(Natalya) character to be built up a bit more before she gets a title shot though, the feud they’re setting up with Michelle should be good especially if they get a spot on a ppv.
Again for who knows how many weeks Smackdown has had a better divas matches(even in general better ) than Raw…
I thought that Nayalya and Kelly did a great job and i can’t wait to see more of Natalya (even Kelly Kelly)….
I want to see next week Natalya vs. Michelle..
Nice to see SD mixes it up a bit, than the constant tag matches on Raw. It was a good match, Kelly’s good at selling, but not that great at doing.
I love Nattie, she’s so smug, Proving to be a lot more interesting than Beth tbh.
It was a pretty good match. Nattie is like Beth without the boring vanilla personality. And Kelly is starting to grow on me. If she is the next one to do PB, and she probably is, by the time the next WM rolls around, she’ll have had plenty of time to improve, and could put on a decent match next year.
well kelly sure is getting good at wreslting…ps is it just me or does something about her scream torrie to me?
wel anyways Natalya is just a ruthless character much like beth, but beth is kinda blah and natalya is soo like you know her and love to hate her thing that bath tries to get.
SD is defenatly the better brand at this moment. and SD keeps me interested cause im just waiting to see michelle vs natalya!!
I agree. Kelly sold Natalya, and she really has come a looooooooooooooong way from when she started, I’m so proud ^_^
And Natalya, I would agree that she is the best Diva right now on WWE.
And is it just me, or is SmackDown, just in general, the best WWE show right now? It’s clearly beating ECW and RAW is starting to go down too.

That was amazing. I’m starting to love Kelly Kelly. She really delivered.
Kelly sold really well, but her offensive moves (namely the forearms) weren’t convincing at all. She doesn’t follow through with them.
I love the personality Natalya’s showing - it shows she’s more than just a mute amazonian chick.

Probably the outfit, it’s Candice Michelle with a bit of Torrie thrown in, she needs to get a different style if she wants to stand out.
