If you guys out there are anything like me, you just hate Mondays. Start of the week, back to work, school, college, uni… whatever. Take the edge off today, with a piece of news that has been floating around the Internet for quite some time now. I saw this mentioned on many forums and stuff but never took heed of it, until today when I saw it posted on Lords of Pain:
The push that Mickie James is getting at the moment was actually slated for Ashley Massaro at one point.

I wonder what it was that WWE Creative saw in Ashley to warrant giving her a push for the Women’s Championship: Her rock-hard tits that are actually incredibly unattractive beauty, her ability to botch every single move she tries impressive wrestling skills or could it just be that she offered the writers an incentive? I’m just sayin’… Escort Ashley and all. Anyway, the only push Ashley deserves is a push out the door and to be honest, I wouldn’t mind if it hit her on the ass on the way out… and knocked her to the ground.

stop talking this way about ashley. she doesn´t deserve that you or anybody else is talking bad about her. i love it that the wwe will push her. this will help her in the situation. so please respect her and try to give her support anyway. it doesn´t matter for me if the escort story is true or not. i like her what ever she is doing. you should do the same, becuase she gives her best in the ring for you THE FANS. so think about it

when i read this on wrestlezone i was like WTF!!! i cant belive they even thought about ashley as champ. they would probably have to make a mini size belt for ashley if she was champion. she doesn’t deserve it.

Benny, in all honesty I think what will “help her in the situation” would be to never get herself into it in the first place. She doesn’t deserve a push. She doesn’t deserve a title. If WWE want to subject the viewing audience to fumbly botch-filled Ashley title defences all the time, that’s up to them. But I, the fan, would far rather that Ashley & WWE creative, would leave it up to the more talented, ring-worthy Divas.

How would a push help Ashley in this situation? Raise her self esteem? Fuck, she’s a grown woman – if she wants a push she needs to improve her in-ring work, plain and simple.

it would help her because if she gets the title, she knows that the wwe is by her side. and her in ring work: the wwe chooses who wins and who looses. she is doing a good job. if mcmahon says you loose then you loose.

The fact that the woman is still employed says clear enough that WWE are by her side. The title should be for people who have worked for it. She hasn’t. Escort allegations aside, the woman is poor in the ring, to give her a title would be a travesty. I give Ashley her props when its due, Granted, she gets injured & comes back fighting, but she hasn’t learnt enough in the time she’s been there to be worthy of the title.

Yeah, NOT everyone is an Ashley fan (myself included). Regardless, if someone is going to have a title (either male or female) they NEED to work hard for it and have in-ring experience. Those wrestlers who have those titles around their waist DON’T simply have them for nothing!
