Tonight, if you were unaware, marks the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event, airing at 9 pm EST. on NBC. The show was taped before RAW on Monday, so there are spoilers out and about. Below, without spoiling anything, I’ve listed tonight’s lineup. If you do not wish to know even that, turn away now!!
• The Great Khali vs. Jimmy Wang Yang.
• Jeff Hardy vs. Edge
• John Cena & Cryme Tyme & Batista vs. JBL & Kane & Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase.
I’m curious to know your opinion on the lack of a Divas match in the lineup. That’s not to say there’s no Diva appearances at all, but don’t you think they could have used the exposure that NBC gives them to showcase one of their Diva feuds? Obviously, RAW and SmackDown have plenty of Diva rivalries to showcase. And don’t you think Katie Lea and Mickie James could have used the event as momentum for their feud going into a possible Summerslam match? Cast your vote below and sound off in the comments!

Yeah, i am kinda mad. They could have had a 6 divas tag team match Mickie James, Michelle McCool and Maria VS Katie Lea, Victoria and Natalya.
I wasn’t expecting a divas match anyways. It does piss me off we only had a divas tag match at the first one but it was 2 hours long.
I know the second one had the divas bullridng contest and the mixed tag with Melina and Trish but I’m talking about a match with just divas competing in the ring.
yeah yet they have time for The Great Khali vs Jimmy Wang Yang..I wonder who will win that match =/

I agree with wwedivafan The Great Khali vs Jimmy Wang Yang match is pretty much predictable… how often does a less than 6ft tall cruiserweight defeat a 7ft+ super heavyweight? That space could have easily been used for a Diva match.
SNME is only one hour long, and part of that is given to a charity. They are building up the higher profile matches / superstars, so it makes sense. I’m not mad or surprised it happened, since Mickie / Katie hasn’t been built up much, and there’s nothing happening Divas Title-wise on Smackdown.
I would have loved a Divas Championship rematch between Michelle and Natalya on the card, since Katie/Mickie are getting SummerSlam. It’s only a one hour show that has no bearing on WWE storylines, so I’m not too fussed. WWE are only doing SNME these days to fill an obligation with NBC, it will barely get a mention come Raw or SmackDown. SNME is not the big deal it was when it first relaunched and we had that Divas tag match before ‘Mania 22.
who cares not every show has to have a womens match.

I was so pissed off when I read the spoilers. I didnt even bother to put on the show for even a second. Although I wasnt expecting one because the whole show was centered around Jenny Macarthy. Im not trying to belittle autism but SNME is about wrestling not charity. WWE should have done something else to get that message across.

Meh. Even though they were on, they’d probably be backstage doing nothing. Anyways, no one really catches SNME anymore because don’t the ratings slumps down when its on due to less promotion?

Yeah but Ashleigh, you’d all then be bitching because the match only got a minute. Wrassling fans, no pleasin’ us.
