Welcome to the YouTube Classics! Coinciding with the opening of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, this week’s theme will be “WWE Goes Global”, featuring matches in international settings. Today, we have Trish Stratus & Ashley vs. Candice Michelle & Maria from the December 19th, 2005 “Tribute to the Troops” event. Recently, the WWE has initiated a tradition in which they make a yearly trip oversees to perform for U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East. Every year the event – aired on or around Christmas – both produces good buzz for the comapny and generates morale for the U.S. troops:
