This week on SmackDown: Natalya and Maryse were victorious over Maria and Michelle McCool, with Natalya scoring the win once again. Thoughts & Reactions After last week’s Olympic fiasco, I thoroughly enjoyed this week’s SmackDown match and it really did accomplish a few things… some intentionally and some not. 1) Natalya is still the most dominant Diva on SmackDown and is still being booked strongly as Michelle’s challenger for the Divas Championship. 2) Maryse really came into her own this week, showing all the signs of a truly believable heel. 3) Michelle really displayed her in-ring skills this week, proving just why she is the Divas Champ. As for Maria, well I guess we have yet to solve that problem. While Maria may be the weak link, the other three Divas really showed a lot of progression and I found myself enjoying this match thoroughly. Seriously, I never ever thought I’d ever like Maryse, but she has grown on me so much and she continues to prove what a fantastic asset she is to SmackDown. I never thought I’d say that, Maryse is slowly becoming a “one to watch” among the WWE Divas, she’s developed at an exponential rate and this week was so much fun to watch with her little heel-ish poses. Maryse is coming into her own, sure she has a long way to go but I am really impressed with our Frenchie so far! Natalya, ever the trouper, carried this match despite Maria’s slowness and has really been booked strongly over the past couple of weeks. Last week, she rolled up Maria and this week Michelle, proving to us that WWE isn’t done with the Michelle-Natalya programme, but can they please hurry up and give us a rematch or some sort of singles development? I think they’ve been booking all this tag matches of late as a vehicle to get both Maria and Michelle on screen because God forbid we have two Diva segments. While Maria and Maryse seem to be developing a feud, I am still awaiting some sort of development from the Great American Bash - sure Natalya’s won a couple of matches, but there has been no storyline development between Michelle and Natalya. Meanwhile, I was so impressed with Michelle last night. Michelle has her detractors, but I urge them to watch last night’s match - I know that they will try and fault her anyway, but Michelle really delivered the goods on SmackDown and was a lot of fun in the ring. From the moment she was tagged in, the whole pace of the match sped up and her and Natalya seemed to work really well together. Michelle was just on fire! A lot of great fast paced action between these two and even Maryse a lil bit. Despite a slow start (thanks to Maria) this was a decent match and I appreciated the work of Maryse, Michelle and Natalya. Individual Assessments Maria: How do you solve a problem like Maria? Colour me puzzled! Maryse: Great stuff from Maryse, she’s slowly becoming one of the best heels in the WWE. Michelle McCool: This is why she’s Divas Champion, not because of who she’s screwing. I think its funny cause you had Maria telling Maryse if she’s ready as if maryse didn’t get the best of maria while they were in the ring. Michelle looked good in the ring all she’s needs is personality. Natalya great as always and Maryse surprise surprise I’m liking her stepping into her own and making the most of her character.

Maryse is a horrible wrestler. She needs to learn alot to be one of the best heels.
She flips her hair (so many times btw) and tries to act heelish. So IMO that’s not a good heel.
Michelle did amazing. Nattie wins bugs me since she doesn’t deserves two wins in a row. Especially now.
Maria is Maria tbh. I don’t expect much since she has to work with Maryse.
Maria has been disappointing me lately. Maryse Reminded me of Angelina Love in this Match.
I think Maria should be put back into an interviewer or manager/valet role. I’m a fan of hers, but I don’t think she’s cut out for the ring.

Michelle is just like Mickie James over on Raw. Invincible. They /never/ lose singles matches, especially when they need to.
Natalya deserves these wins. And I agree with Danielle, Maryse is like one of the Beautiful People, and they’re one of the best heels in TNA.
I loved Maria’s wrestling gear. She needs to work alot more house shows and wrestle in FCW a few more times. But you can see her improving more. She is starting to do moves that aren’t being carried by the other wrestler
I want to see Natalya become the Diva’s Champ and then have Victoria come after it
God, Maria was awkward. She tries to do too much - too much flashy stuff. She needs to work on the basics.

I dont get why so many people hate Michelle McCool. So if she is dating the Undertaker, She has come a long way from the Diva Searcha and i think that she has improved so mcuh that she deserves to be The first ever Divas champion because Natalya was basically born into wrestling so she can easily get the belt sometime down the road. As for Natalya im slowly starting to like her but her laugh kinds of scares me and it smake her sound like a man. And btw Jack, that was a great dropkick by Michelle as well as the swinging neck breaker. As for Maria as much as i like her i still think there is some way for her to go until her inring skills are similar to the likes of Michelle and Natalya. As for NAtalya i would really like her to use more powerfuls moves a bit liek Beth phoenix. She needs to utilise her strenght then she could easily be the New Diva Champion. As for Maryse, who cares. She looks fucking good.

Hey! you didn’t even mention the fact that VICTORIA was featured in about 3, count em’, THREE backstage segments! and the stuff that was going on with Vickie & Edge you didn’t mention that either.

And telling Maryse looks like Angelina is an insult.
Angel is a capable wrestler, with mic skills and she’s also a good actress. Maryse can’t wrestle, can’t even speak proper english and well… let’s just say that she’s incredibly clumsy in the ring.

Ok match - id give it 7/10 probably, Maryse did well, Natalya too, Maria is slowly improving..but she was a bit sloppy, Michelle needs to work on her character but her wrestling is pretty good at the moment.
michelles wrestling is alright but it doesnt prove to me why shes champ..and that was NOT a dropkick..it was a simple one legged kick..just because shes been around for a long time doesnt mean shes fit to be champion..HELLO: TORRIE!!!..shes growing on me a bit but ill still say shes champ cuz of her boyfriend..since hes not around look at how poorly shes being booked..wait until next week and the week after, it will change dramatically..the one that shocked the most was Maryse: first-WOW SHES HOT!!! second, shes did good since she couldnt do much cause of her nose, which i find Maria trying to punch her in the face so heel like, and Michelle was actign that way too..i also find it funny that Maryse got the biggest pop of the whole match includign entrances when she stood on the ropes.
Natalya of course is awesome as usual and totally carried Maria. she and McCool work together pretty well but Natalya seriously either needs to win the belt and feud with Victoria or go to RAW cuz theres no one for her legitimately on SD

Michelle and Natalya owned this match. I think Maryse is a great heel, she does that whole “bitch please, I’m hotter than you” thing SOO Well. Maria…well, she tried. Natalya is one of the best technical Divas out there. And Michelle McCool…SHE’S A BEAST. Holy crap, did things pick up when Michelle got tagged.
mcdick is just a whore i hope she gets hurt and retires with that old fun the undertaker which i hope he gets injured in the hell in a cell.

Natalya is amazing. She is such a good sell. She is maybe 5 months into her WWE and she has her own enterance music (not a production theme, a finishing move (sharpshooter), signature taunt (laughing), a catch phrase (yeah baby), a costume design (which means a set costume made in a couple different colors), and a solid entrance. Michelle has been in the WWE for 4 years and she doesn’t even has all of those yet. I love Natalya
Entrance music: Not Enough For Me
Finishing Moves: Wings of Love, Heel Hook, Roundhouse Kick, Spinning Backbreaker
Signature Taunt: Rallying the crowd by shaking her fists, or whatever she does in her entrance
Catch Phrase: “I’m Michelle McCool, and I’m loving life”
Signature Costume Design: A two piece halter bra top, paired with tights, and might I add, “different colors”
And solid entrance: Climbs the ring, swings her leg, shakes her booty, gets in, and does her “signature taunt”
The way I see it Cameron, Michelle actually has the said things listed which Natalya possess as well.
