This week on SmackDown: Natalya and Maria faced off in the opener of this week’s show. Maria got the win via DQ after being attacked by Natalyta and Maryse before Michelle McCool made the save. Thoughts & Reactions The third generation Diva continues to exert her unique prowess in the ring, bringing in-ring psychology into the mix while trying to stumble from one move to the next, carrying the Playboy covergirl. I liked the whole deal with Natalya going after Maria’s knee. This was a surprisingly long match - I’m used to quickies from the Divas, but the length really helped Natalya and Maria get their story across. If Maryse is interfering, why would her entrance music play? I didn’t really like the end, I felt this could be a good match if they had a clean win. Instead we have the involvement of Maryse and Michelle and the end, as usual over the past month on SmackDown, felt unresolved. No storyline continuations, just matches with undefined endings. I mean where is this all going? Are we just going to have a random combination of matches every week? Can they not just announce a Maria vs Maryse match for next week or something? Can they not just give Natalya her rematch already? Why do we need to go around in circles every freakin’ week? The booking leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, the match was okay but the end I wasn’t keen on. Individual Assessments Maria: An improvement of her matches of late, I’ll give her that. Maryse: I guess Maryse just has to make an entrance? Michelle McCool: Is it just me or is the actual Divas Champion the one being overlooked among this division? Natalya: Great work from Natalya, as usual. I actually watched this match online. Maria is improving so kudos to her. Also like you have said, I dont get why Maryse’s music was played when she was interfering but alright, and Michelle did a shit job of being the one to save Maria, she got no pop and didnt look the least bit like she was going to kick some major butt. This would have been a lot better if Natalya won and then Maryse came down to help her beat Maria up after the match with Michelle coming in for the save.
What was with Michelle’s Outfit???
I heard a pop when Michelle came running out, although it wasn’t that big of a pop. I hated the amount of offence Maria got in on Natalya, she should have only got in a few moves, if that. And those pants Michelle was wearing were…… wow….

I didn’t like the ending much myself. Michelle hardly made the save she just kinda ran up there and scared the other two off.
Her pants looked like the blue ones from a previous photoshoot… dunno though cuz I’ve only seen this match on the internet.
By the way was there a Raw Redux this week?

the reason they played maaryse’s music is because its the best music in the WWE right now and to be honest this match sucked especially the fact that they made maria get offensive on natalya i mean

i was surprised with Maria’s effort..with the exception of the botched head scissors and the no selling legs, she didnt do too bad. it was aimed at making her look like a credible threat to Natalya, who mostl ikely will be winning the belt soon
Its so surprising that its been a month since Michelle, the CHAMPION has had a solo match, and last week took thep in!!! shes completely overlooked right now and looking very weak..and very ugly in that outfit..I was laughing so hard when she “ran” out and she didnt do anything! she just stood there, no hits no nothing so she really didnt save Maria

i don’t like this article…i feel like you are one of Maria’s haters on internet… in this web page you need to be the most straight as posible… to me Maria looks really good on this match..and impress me…Natalya to me is a good wrestler but she is boring in the ring…she didn’t really are heel…to me she is just a women who wants a tittle…i like the matches when you feel there is something personal and in this match Maria looked like she got personal problems against Natalya but Natalya looked like she only are there to wrestle…Maria imrpoved really well on this match and looked good because she make good that moves…in the past Maria only do bulldogs because that was the only move she make good…in the past…on this match she do all really good…When the theme music of Maryse sounds i like it because there is more “distraction” on the match…Maria looked at Maryse because the song appeared…when Michelle McCool appeared…i just hate it! Michelle McCool is a great female wrestler but she do the same and the same and the same and the same!! once again Michelle is helping another diva…Michelle McCool have a list of the female wrestles she wants to help or something??

I think they’re trying to make Michelle be the ‘Smackdown version’ of Mickie. It’s sickening. They could’ve used Michelle for something better.
Maryse’s music > everybody elses.
I think creative thinking and WWE are an oxymoron. Somehow the terms are inheritantly contradictive. None of the Diva matches especially on Smackdown have any sense or logic to them. I love Michelle and I absolutely hate how she’s being used. She’s the CM punk version of Smackdown. A champion who gets no respect, no airtime nothing. The same thing applies to both Raw as a whole and Smackdown to a larger extent. This is why I question just how Gail Kim is going to be used. Used for what?

second of all: i agree with those who say you are a maria-hater. im sure its not intentional but it does sound like you especially hate maraia. you should try to be fairer to her; biased people arent cool haha
third of all: maria really surprised me in this match. she did way better than i thought she would against a real pro like natalya. give the girl some credit!
If I was hating on Maria, I’d be calling her a bitch and a whore. My blog does not bash or hate on Maria, it criticises her. Maria in my honest opinion, is not a good wrestler and as such, I am not afraid to point it out. It’s not my fault people cannot take criticism. You can be a fan and not eat up all the shit that is served.
It’s true, biased people aren’t cool. People who think that everything little thing their favourite Diva does smells of roses aren’t cool. I’m assuming your definition of “fairer” would be to kiss Maria’s ass 24/7? Well newsflash, I have a brain and shock horror, I use my brain to think and construct opinions. I will never ever censor my opinion just to appease fans who cannot take the slightest criticism because in essence, though they choose not to admit it, they are not fans but marks.
