Tonight on Raw it was revealed that Candice Michelle would face the winner of a Women’s Championship match between Beth Phoenix and Mickie James at No Mercy. Beth beat Mickie, meaning it’ll be Beth vs Candice for the title at the pay per view on October 5th.
It was at No Mercy one year ago, that Beth defeated Candice to capture her first Women’s Championship. How do you feel about this development? Sound off in the comments!

i love candice but this is to much to soon
So much for Candice working her way back up to a title shot huh, the little B**** just gets one right off the bat. There are plenty of other contenders who are a lot better and are more talented than Candice who actually deserve to be the champion. Like Mickie James for one, or Katie Lee or Jillian hell even Kelly-Kelly is better than she is! I don’t understand why they just automatically give it back to her. She did not deserve the first time, she will only disgrace it if they give it to her again.

Poor Mickie when I saw the promo for the women’s championship match between Mickie and Beth. I was thinking “Yes! I guess they haven’t sidelined Mickie for Mandice Hoechelle after all ” and then I hear her music come out and when they say the winner of this match’ll face Candice. I;m thinking Hello! Beth Phoenix is the Women’s Champ. I wul’ve loved to see Mickie vs. Candice. I wonder if WWE would’ve made Mickie job to that no talent whore
Candice vs Beth ugh. I’m not really excited about this match-up. There are a lot more Divas than her that are worthy of a title showt. Candice barely returned to the ring last week; well, i think it’s too soon for a ppv match already. I would’ve preferred if they would’ve waited a little longer for this feud to develop.
I think that a 3 way match for the Women’s title @ NM would’ve been more interesting.
i think mickie should take a break and be sidelined for a while. she has been pretty bland for a long ime as face. i was just watching a promo from mickies psycho days and a promo from recently. well i had so much fun watching the psycho ones that i didn’t even bother watching mickies suckish and bland promo performances. dont get me wrong mickie is great in the ring and all but WWE seriously make her psycho already i like the old days better. but getting back on topic i really think kelly should have gotten a shot first while candice competes against jillian and katie lea kelly loses they candice should get her shot. i think giving it to her right off the bat when she still has ring rust was a bad idea. but we will just have to wait and see on how this turns out
gonna suck is what I think..she wants to earn respect and earn her way to the belt, and 1 week after returning she gets a shot?!!!! and Mickie gets her shot on TV??!!! BBBBSSSSS!!!!!! and she still gets the most blah reaction from the fans for the past 2 weeks..im counting down the weeks left for Melinas return..she is gonna be freakin awesome..i realize why i havent been excited about watching RAW..its because of no Melina!!!

Don’t sweat it folks, we should all be used to this. I haven’t watched Raw in I think 5 weeks now, but I like the writers of this site and check it out every so often…I saw the botch clip of Candice and I just say now, lay the blame on the boss.
I am so fricking fed up with it, all of it that I am about to stop watching it all together!!! First Batista gets screwed out of his title by Edge, then Punk gets it, and then Jericho gets it when Batista already had it, why does he have to keep jobbing to these idiots. Then it gets worse with Candice getting the title opportunity when she looked like hell in the ring when she returned last week and just gets right back in there to get the title shot. And to top it all off London hasn’t been on WWE TV since what, June? They are completely messing up the show. Raw used to be good, it used to be the flagship show, but if you ask me Batista would have been better off on SD at least they treated him halfway decent there. I have been a fan and watching wrestling since 2001 and I am so close to ending it and just stop watching the WWE at all. Does anybody feel the same or is it just me?
Beth will keep her title. Champions usually keep their belts for about 5 months before they drop it. I don’t see Candice winning the belt for a while

Ok, for all those people nagging about how she got the title shot, do you guys remember how Mickie got her title shot against Beth months back? She won a tag team match with Ashley! It’s the same thing! Also, it’s a bit over dramatic that some of you say you’re going to “stop watching WWE” all because Candice gets a title shot. We all saw this coming, so I don’t get why everyone is so surprised. Oh, and for those wishing injury on Candice, that’s horrible. It’s crazy that people get so angry about this that they’d wish permanent injury on someone.

Last year at No Mercy Beth def.Candice and took Championship from her-revenge for that!And,first time Candice didn’t injured herself…if u remember,Beth pushed the roopes and that was so stupid!She knew Candice can get hurt bad,but she didn’t care.
Candice didn’t take the bump properly. Watch the vid. She is supposed to fall on her back, but she doesn’t get around fast enough to do it. Also, Candice was already in the air by the time Beth reached the ropes.
I can see Santino interfering on Beth’s behalf for Beth to pick up the dirty win (for storyline purposes, Beth now needs help to beat a motivted Candice. Before then, Beth could beat Candice with no help), Candice gets anothe shot, probably first on RAW (where she’ll win) and then on PPV (where she’ll win the rematch) Probably Cyber Sunday, or if they want to make it a major deal, Survivor Series.

I’m a bit confused as to what Candice did to earn her title match though? Other than the 6 man tag match last week – that both Kelly and Mickie were involved in – I don’t really get what she’s done to earn the title shot so quickly =/.
Pretty much revenge against Beth. Whoever made her the No. 1 Contender knew she wanted a piece of the Women’s Champ, and knew it would make for good drama. So, the match was made. This has (unintentionally) been the longest Diva storyline / feud. Started last September when Beth was the No. 1 contender, and it’s continuing next September.
