Michelle McCool has taken to her Fan Nation blog to comment on a few things, mainly the amount of scruntity that she and other Divas endure:
Personality/character: I had someone send me a message saying that I’m this, I’m that, I don’t have this, I don’t have that, I stink at this, I stink at that. Ok…….I get your point – you obviously don’t like or respect me. To my defense, I wish you just knew me before you felt the need to act like you do! :) This will probably come out either ungrateful and mean or extremely passionate (I hope it’s the latter b/c that’s what it’s supposed to be)! I love this business…always have and always will!!! I can only do what I am asked/told to do and I hope that whether you like a superstar or not, you can at least look past what you think you know about him or her and try to respect whatever it is they might be doing. There is a lot more to me than what you have seen on tv and hopefully, in the very near future, you will be able to see that even more. Alot of times, all of the divas are put into the same category as to how they look and/or act. I don’t want that.
We aren’t all the same, we don’t dress the same, we don’t have the same backgrounds, we don’t look the same and we don’t act the same. I myself find that refreshing! We don’t always get the opportunity to show that on tv, so whenever we get a chance to simply be on tv (no matter what the capacity), we try to capitalize on that. It’s just really funny to me….to do this job, it takes a lot of heart, a lot of athleticism, a lot of soul and a whole lot of strength (physical, mental and emotional). The people who are sending these comments obviously have nothing better to do and only see what they want to see (not just with me, with whoever they are sending them to and/or about).
The way I look at it is this…when people don’t expect much from you, you always get the praise of how wonderful you did and how much you have grown. When people think you should be doing better, they don’t look at how far you’ve come or what you may or may not be doing for the other person you are working with. It’s pretty much a double edged sword and I LOVE IT! I know we can’t please you all, but I hope we just continue to entertain you and earn a little bit of your respect. As I’ve said a million times, there are lots of hearts to win and barriers to break. It’s you guys and your feedback that keep us going. So, thank you for that!

So, do you agree with her? Are fans too harsh, or do you think Michelle should suck it up and take the criticism? Personally, I feel the Divas shouldn’t be treated like little girls – we should be able to judge their performances and criticize them if we feel it’s warranted. If everything came down to “Oh, but look how far they’ve come!” there’d be no point to discussing matches and pretty much makes this blog pointless. They get paid to do this (wrestle, perform..), so I feel we have every right to question and discuss their talent and ability to do so. Some people are too harsh, but that comes with the territory, I’d think.. What’s your take? Sound off in the comments!

As fans we all deserve to have our voices heard. However there are some people who go out of their way to insult some of these divas. These girls are doing their best out there and its not fair to get all the the flack that they get. I’m sure there’s a way for fans to criticize w\o being blatantly malicious. (I’m looking at you, Candice haters) :P
She must have her reasons, I’m just curious to know what exactly they were telling her for to actually take time out to write all that.
For every fan, theres 100 haters, so get over it Michelle.
If you’re in the public eye, you’re going to be criticised. You just have to deal with it. Michelle isn’t exactly dealing with Britney levels of fame.

I think some people are a bit too harsh. Like when people start complaining about her body, when really her body is her body and if she’s comfortable with it then leave her be etc.
I’m actually kinda glad she took time to comment on it. I hate it when I’m reading peoples comments and they aren’t even talking about the wrestling, they’re just saying things that would bring anybody down if they read them about themselves.
To be quite honest, I can’t see the majority of people who’re telling her to suck it up say that kind of thing to someone like Melina, if this was their blog.

Cuz on Sunday i sent a comment to her on her fan nation page saying how much I hate her and how I think shes only here cause of Taker and her fashion sense is horrible. I also said she’s a horrible champ. I may be wrong but Im thinking its me

She needs to suck it up and take the criticism. Although, I do agree with Steven. Some people are malicious, rude, and just plain nasty. It’s okay to critcize the divas, just not that harsh.

I don’t like Michelle…the wrestler. As a champion, I think she hasn’t showed much in-ring personality and needs some attitude to But practically,the title means nothing on Sd. Thanks WWE creative!
TBH, I think there’s more to this message or whatever someone sent than just saying “you can’t wrestle that well.” When it comes to the divas or any celebrity in general, people can be so malicious and hate them for how they’re portrayed/gossip/the person’s personal life (which has nothing to do with us at home who twiddle our thumbs). Yes, she may not be the best wrestler or have the best character and I’d find it fine to bring that up because it could be constructive. But when people go around calling any of the divas whores, sluts, bitches, etc. without knowing them personally, it’s honestly going too far.
I like how she wrestles
and besides it must be hard to go up in the ring and entertain us. In fact When someone doesn’t know how to “wretle” why should that person JUDGE A PROFESSIONAL!
What the world is she complaining about. She is a fair wrestler, another big boobed blonde but she just so happens to be dating The Legendary Undertaker…. so I wonder why she is where she is…. that’s easy…. she is sleeping with the right person to get ahead in the company. She didn’t defend that lame belt in 2 months… who cares. In a year or so Vince will have a new Blonde in her place. She is so pitiful!

Steven you are a moron if you think that she got where she is by her boring wrestling abilities. She is all of a sudden a top diva and has a title and this all happens WHILE she is having an affair with Taker. Give me a break… she is ONLY where she is due to sleeping with a legend. She is a mediocre wrestler with bad mic work who will be forgotten in a year or so.
While it maybe true that Michelle’s ring work is mediocre at best, and that she MAY be involved with the Undertaker this is not the point she nor I are trying to make. The point is she and every other diva on the WWE roster bust their asses 300 days a year and they are riduled by ignorant ‘fans’ who are more interested in who they’re sleeping with than the job they’re doing. This is the same problem that ran Lita outta WWE. If you she can’t wrestle well then says that, don’t go on and on about how sleeping with a Legend.

Well I don’t really know what to say. I’ve only been coming to this site for a month and a half or so, and I’ve only started commenting in the last few weeks or so. While I know that there is probably nothing I could say to convince you, I just wanna that me and Ashleigh are not the same person.
