Every week, we have comments with people discussing the weekly SmackDown Divas matches on YouTube before they air on television. Usually, we wait till the SmackDown Redux to discuss the matches but we’ve decided that each week, we will post the matches from the show right here every Friday for you to watch and discuss.
As usual, we will be waiting till Saturday to post our SmackDown Redux to share our own thoughts, but you are free to use the comments to talk about this week’s SmackDown ahead of then!

wtf was maria wearing?
i was talking about in the six diva tag match
Maria was wearing the ugliest thing. But she was fairly impressive in the ring
Lol at first I thought she (Maria) took inspiration from the 101 Dalmations but on closer inspection, they were skulls!
Maryse was very sloppy!
brie hit her in the stomach 2 times and maryse didnt even notice!

Michelle looks really strong in this match like she dominated Natalya like nothing, I’m loving Maryse while she wasn’t the cleanest I felt most into the action when she was in the ring. Brie is obviously way above maria’s in ring skills. While going back to maria she seemed like she was in the middle of mat training i dunno I’m never excited to see her anymore. other then that nice tag match way better then what RAW had to offer.
As I’m on my sidekick, I can’t see this vid yet, but I’m sure Maria’s ring gear is horrid. It always is. She always rocking some wierd animal print with feather on the hood. The only ring gear that can be worse than Maria’s is Maryse’s gold and red number. That was just awful. She looked like Iron Man’s Hoe. Ugh. :(
My complaint is my usual complaint about SD diva matches, its not over and the crowd doesen’t care. They continue to bury Natalya by making her look really weak. By a rough count she had 16 offensive moves done to her and only did like 5.
The usual piped in cheers and entrance framed tight.
Maria, please stop copying Kellys moves. Someone needs to seriously call this girl on move theft. 2 in the last few weeks.
And it irks me because when Kelly does that grab rope move and flip, she just puts her hand on the rope for balance. Maria has to yank the rope. It effecitively ruined that move.

Maria’s ring gear made me gasp out loud. :P She was obviously going for flashy moves (like always) and she always ends up looking extremely rehearsed or just sloppy.
Michelle’s big boot kind of irks me. I know it’s probably a reference to the Undertaker, but it look to awkward for a woman to do it.

They probably put it because that’s what the face divas came out to?
@ Michelle: Good point, but they usually play the winning diva’s music, even if they come out collectively to one theme. Chalk it up to the guys in the truck being lazy. For shame. :(
The WWE Divas suck except Beth Phoenix, Victoria and Mickie James. The TNA Knockouts could beat them with arms tied behind their backs. Michelle McCool is only where she is because she is with Taker.
Why did they have to play Michelle’s music when Brie got the pin
I thought it was a good match, Maryse looked smoking hot, Maria looked awful, maryse a little bit sloppy this match but she came out strong.
Did anyone notice that Brie’s red arm band was at her wrist when she went under the ring but was back up above her elbow when Nicole came back out. I Don’t know if WWE are making obvious changes between the two so people can tell who’s who or if its accidental
I was surprised at just how weak they made Natalya look in this match. I know you’re supposed to make the faces look good, but why didn’t Victoria just sell for the faces at the beginning and the end of the match? Maryse came off stronger than both heels, which I guess makes sense, but not really.
But, after the PPV, they have time to flesh things out and build to their next match, which may or may not be at Cyber Sunday. they just need to do a better job of getting fans to care.
Chris, I’ve always thought it was intentional. Brie and Nicole have always had subtle changes in their wardrobe (like one would wear a belt and one won’t), so smarter fans can catch on. I think it’s a pretty cool =)
