WWE.com has changed it’s match description for the Champion vs Champion match between Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool to a Lumberjack Match, with all the other WWE Divas surrounding the ring. The match takes place this Friday night on the SmackDown All Star Kick-Off on MyNetworkTV.
Should be pretty cool, but what do you think of this latest development?

Yah, hopefully the divas like Lena and Eve will get involved maybe even Alica will make her return but let’s hope it’s not like a three minuet match.
I was thinking the same thing about Alicia. I hope so. Any way , I see Maryse getting a few cheap shot in and Beth getting distracted by Candice, causing her to lose. After that huge all diva cat fight. I would put money on that.

This sounds good, hopefully its a big, long match with lots of people involved. Plus all divas getting some tv time is awesome.

what could have been an actually good match is now going to be a laugh fest as well as a dumb fest. when has anyone liked the lumberjack matches?! this will now be a 3 minute match broken up by a couple of instances of side crap. i guess this is the way Maryse and Candcie can get involved as well as a way of getting Michelle the win. no one was going to believe a clean victory, so this makes sense.
still sucks though..why cant we get a one on one match?!!!!

With all these girls in, and with Beth winning tonight, I can see Candice costing Beth the match. But, I still think that this will end in a double DQ after a while, and the faces will clear the ring of the heels and we’ll have an awkward standoff going into commercial break.
Lumberjack matches are dumb. But they should do one with Brie Bella where she loses because she can’t switch.

God, when they did the first one a few years ago, i was into it because it was something new, but its been so pushed into the ground, they just need to stop with this match type … forever.
No one would realisticly believe Michelle could beat Beth and Beth beating Michelle does nothing for either of them. This way the match can end in a large brawl with no one winning or for that matter loosing.
Can anyone else see this being a big catfat in the end? With Brie, Maria, Mickie, Kelly, Eve and Candice being the faces and Maryse, Natalya, Victoria, Jillian, Layla, Katie Lea and Lena being the heels?? Will Tiffany be involved too? Theres not enough Diva Battle Royals Nowadays!

How stupid can WWE be. That is just there way of getting all the Divas out of the way in one match. Come on you cant make all those (fake wrestlers) Divas happy. It should just be a regular match. These weak Lumber”jill” matches are not exciting at all it’s stupid!!! Gosh WWE writers are so predictable.
