What’s that saying? “This one just blew wide open!” Well that’s exactly what has happened. Everybody thought Kelly Kelly was a dead cert for WWE’s Playboy covergirl in 2009 but the youngest Diva on the roster has quashed rumours that she’ll be posing nude for the magazine. For a girl who had pictures of herself peeing in a sink two years ago, seems as though Kelly is taking the moral high ground such as the likes of Trish Stratus and Stacy Keibler before her:

Like I said, it seemed like Kelly for ’09 was a done deal but not anymore! So just who will pose for Playboy next year? The first name that popped into my head was Maryse, if so, methinks just about everyone and their grandpa will be running out to buy that one! Anyway, we’ll likely find out soon, the Playboy pictorials are usually shot in October-November.

Kelly is starting to get pretty decent in the ring, the best thing for her if she wants to become a Trish, Lita level of wrestler is to stay away from Playboy. Its not like it gets anyone much exposure anymore…. The sales have gone down ever since Torrie’s shoot.
The only girls I could ever see doing it this year is Kelly, Maryse or Layla, and Kelly was always the front runner. I honestly could not see Layla doing it, so it seems Maryse is the only WWE girl for the spread…
None of the divas doing the spread and the WWE/Playboy partnership ending would of course be the best option :P.
I’m soooo proud of my Kelly. Would have have thought this is the same Kelly as the slut who once tried to dance on ECW? Man was i ever so wrong about her.
I definitely see it being Maryse since shes done PB before and its about time a heel did it again…..if they HAVE to have a PB spread.

Maryse has done Playboy before? News to me! But yeah, I think Maryse could be the front runner now. Now not that I want to see her nude or anything, but considering the gorgeous photoshoots she takes, I could see it being one of the best Diva shoots ever. Plus she’s decent in the ring, so if she were pushed into a WrestleMania slot, we won’t have to worry as with Maria and Ashley in recent years. I’m thinking WWE may just put on two Divas matches at ‘Mania next year now we have two titles.

either Layla or Maryse make sense to me as they need a heel to do it this time. I say Layla only because itd be different, shes smoking hot..but she might do that “Im too regal for this”
Maryse makes perfect sense because she already think shes hot and i agree that it would completely blow her up. People are recognizing shes getting better in the ring, but its her persona and mannerisms as a heel that shine through the most…I think she should do it
in reality i dont think anyone will do it this year. If the WWE is going PG why would they be apart of Playboy
I can see it being Maryse but sort of out of left field it could be Tiffany. Taryn’s posed for Playboy in the past as well and is on good terms with the company. She’s not all that over in WWE yet so it would be kind of an Eh-move but I wouldn’t be surprised to see her doing it in the future if they continue the tradition.
There’s a reason that WWE likes to choose models that have posed for Playboy in the past to work for them it’s easier to convice them to do it again unless they had a completly horrible experience while doing it.

She’s claiming she’s not doing it. She’s not going to come out and admit that she is or anything. I think she shot it down so the fans think she won’t, but in the end she will pose.
It’s been confirmed for months, I cannot see it changing now, If WWE wants Kelly to do it, they’ll more than likely change her mind on that.

Mike – It’s not confirmed, it’s all been speculation and rumours thus far. WWE cannot force Kelly to do anything she doesn’t want to do. That’d be harrasment.
Maybe Kelly’s not so dumb after all. I dont care what anyone says, its a curse to do Playboy. The best thing would be to concentrate on being a better wrestler. I wish they would stop doing it altogether, no really cares anymore, and the issues don’t sell as well, anyway.

i’m not the biggest kelly kelly fan but i have to say i’m proud of her. she’s focusing more on becoming a better wrestle rather than taking her clothes off which is always good.i wouldn’t want my nakedness to overshadow my in-ring skills.
