As we reported earlier today, the A-List Diva Melina made her in-ring return last night at an FCW show. After a long drawnout bidding war with the likes of People and Us Weekly, we managed to snag the first look at Melina’s return… hurrah! In fact we paid even more than Brangelina got paid for their baby pics…
Okay not really, but that is just an example of what a great character Melina is – we can come up with all sorts of material for her! Our partner forum had these candids up, which we thought we’d share with you. Melina looks great, I’m so looking forward to her television return. As I was saying, Melina has such a great character and not since Trish Stratus has a Diva been so marketable. Her whole ‘A-List Diva’ gimmick means they can do so much for her return. I picture ‘returning soon’ promos on Raw, but to tie in with her gimmick instead of saying ‘returning soon’, they could call it a ‘comeback’. And you know how at the end of those promos you have like ‘John Cena returning soon’, I would love to see a Hollywood Walk of Fame star with Melina’s name on it.
My mind has been wondering all day, just shows how excited I am! However, I am sort of worried. With Melina’s return from injury and Gail Kim set to make a comeback of her own, I think one of the Divas will end up drawing the short straw. I imagine their TV returns will happen quite near to each other (maybe weeks, maybe a month) but I don’t see both Divas getting a big push upon their returns. And I can almost guarantee that there’s no way both will be brought in to Raw – which, let’s face it, is where they deserve to be.
I do hope Melina comes back as a face and is able to restart her feud with Beth, but I could also see WWE wiping the slate clean and having her come back as a heel. If she does come back as a heel, I’d love to see a more amped up gimmick – showing more ‘Hollywood attitude’, maybe bringing up one of the guys from FCW to be her bodyguard or something. Anyhoo, enough of me…

like that she would have the cance to have held the Tna, Womens, and Divas Championship belts now that would be kool.
and Melina should go to raw to get some revenge on Beth =]

Gail to SD!! SD needs a major credible face and she’s it. Melina was on RAW to begin with so she should come back to it. She looks great for someone who hasn’t wrestled in 5 months. I can’t wait to see the video. I think the both of them will get big pushes since they’re both so popular. Melina’s return shouldd get hype videos like Maria did when she got drafted. Melina can be the next in line for Beth because I don’t think Kelly Kelly is ready. Gail would get a big push on SD as being the big new signee from TNA and being a formoer Women’s champion. Plus getting the Divas title will give the WWE something to brag about like Luis said.
I look forward to seeing Melina back and Gail Kim in SD where she can have a great feud with Victoria who is there and waiting. I remember Victoria some weeks ago talking about retirement, but saying she might have one more run at the title, and what a run that would be opposite Ms. Kim.

Um marco…? That’s Alicia Fox. And on a side note: Very cool of Alicia to raise Melina’s hand after the match. It shows she has respect for those who came before her. Oh side note #2: FCW has been booking Alicia a lot as of late, even though she has been managing Jack Gabriel. It seems as though she’s being prepped to be a serious in-ring competitor. Maybe she won’t return with Edge after all….

Lol @ marco. Alicia and Roucka should be called up as a team. They could be called “The Hair Twins”. On second thought, I don’t think WWE could handle another twin gimmick. They already proved they can’t handle two asians. Zing!

But Beth Phoenix was a Heel in OVW, but when she got called up in 2006 she was a Face, so who knows.
Even if she came this Monday I doubt she’d botch the whole Match like someone else ddi when they returned

Breaking News: According to spoiler reports, Alicia Fox will make her official debut on ECW as the valet of DJ Gabriel. Hopefully they’ll get traded to one of the big brands.
