WWE.com has revealed the four Divas who will vye for a Slammy award in the Diva of the Year category at next Monday’s three hour Raw. They are: Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Michelle McCool and Mickie James.
Standard fare if you ask me, Beth, Mickie and Michelle have been pretty prominent on television this year. Somewhat perplexing is Kelly Kelly, she has vastly improved this year and scored quite a few wins on Raw but I would have given her spot to Maryse.
What do you think? Who do you think should pick up the Slammy and who do you think will?

I obviously want Mickie to pick up the Slammy award but that’s probably because she’s my absolute favourite and I’m just me being biased…
Overall, I think that all 4 are good nominees as Michelle was the first ever and current Diva’s Champion, while Mickie was the Women’s Champion and is clearly one of the most popular Diva. Beth is the current Women’s Champion and is obviously one of the more if not thee most domininant Diva… and Kelly has improved greatly in the ring over the year and she seems to be a fan favourite.
I have no ideas who I think will win it and I can’t really decide who I think should win it… maybe when other people start commenting I’ll make be able to make decision =].
Since all the slammy nominees for Superstar of the Year wil fight each other in different singles matches, it will probably be The Champions vs. The Contenders with Beth Pheonix & Michelle McCool (Since McCool will make her hell turn on 12/5) vs. Kelly Kelly & Mickie James.
Im surprised (not saddened) that Maria didnt get a nod.
I think its a toss up between Beth & Michelle to win. Mickie’s reign wasn’t much more interesting than Beth’s and Kelly? that is a random choice.
Personally I think Beth should get the nod. Not because of my love for her, but because she’s had a great year. She’s been consistently shown on WWE tv for the past year, she has two championship reigns spanning over this year, a OMG moment at Judgement Day for the double backbreaker spot, a DMOTY candidate at ONS with Melina & one of the most entertaining angles for the past 6 months in Glamarella.
Whereas beside being champion, Michelle has only just started to be entertaining with her slow burn heel turn, imo.
i’m not really sure.i like all of the divas nominated but i’m gonna go with my gut feeling and say mickie james. she’s definitely the most over with the crowd.
Should win: Beth or Mickie but more edge to Beth as she’s done alot more: sole survivor, dominating champ, Glamarella, The Glam Slam alone is enough for a win, plus she defeated Michelle in the Champ vs. Champ match.
Will Win: Michelle. It will at least be funny to watch her get booed live so I’m kinda hopin for it.
Funny the WWE doesn’t let fans vote on this, then Mickie would win. I’m also surprised Maryse, Maria or Candice didn’t get a nod. Candice and Maria the WWE loves and they’ve done WAY more than Kelly Kelly, at least they’ve gotten title shots.
Maryse of course should’ve gotten the nod not only for just debuting this year, but emerging as the top heel and taking it to Mccool.

but they will probably give it to Kelly Kelly.
Michelle had a big year, so I’m all for her being included. I have a strange feeling that Mickie will win, since she’s so popular with the fans, but I don’t think she deserves it. She’s had a rather “meh” year..
Kelly’s been improving a lot, but she certainly doesn’t deserve to be Diva of the year.
Beth deserves it, shes had a good year of tv, several key wwe storylines, a title run and title defences. Michelle – I guess its natural she’d be nominated since shes the divas champion, but shes plain and boring. Kelly – yes she improved but is so still no where near top diva. Mickie – she had a decent year of tv, lost a title and some backstage segments its possible it could be her, but Beth should get it. Maryse and Melina should have also been nominated imo.
