So we haven’t been keeping up to date with FCW since it’s early shows and I know a lot of you are interesting in seeing the matches etc. We receive a good few e-mails every week with people linking to YouTube videos for us to post. I apologise for not keeping up to date with them, but just to make it up to you, here’s a big ole post with lots of Diva action from FCW:
FCW EPISODE 5: ALICIA FOX & ROUCKA VS KELLY KELLY & WESLEY HOLIDAY
Weird to see Kelly Kelly as the big star of this match, considering she’s learning herself. It was interesting to see her face off against Alicia Fox, who she was signed with in 2006. The two previously used to model together for the same catalogue, which is where they were infamously found. Seeing as they were signed together by WWE, comparing their two careers right now, is really intriguing. Kelly’s become a big star while Alicia is still in the minor leagues. WWE could just as easily have pushed Fox in Kelly’s role when ECW began in June 2006. What a twist of fate…
First thing’s first: Wrestling in skirts is so 2005, ladies. As for this match, I’m most impressed by Alicia Fox. She has a great ring presence and fierceness which reminds me of Melina. I think she’s ready for a wrestling spot in WWE, it’s such a shame that she’s stuck in this ditzy dancing gimmick on ECW. She would make a great and welcome addition to SmackDown. She definitely seems versatile as both a heel and face.
This match sees the FCW television debut of the Diva touted to be the next big thing: Angela Fong. Apparently she has the most potential of all the ladies in FCW and this match certainly proved it. As I wrote above, I think Alicia has a lot of great potential and so does Angela. A very good match and I dare say, it tops some of the matches we see on Raw or SmackDown. These two Divas look great in the ring and worked really well together and look far more advanced than the likes of Candice and Maria.
It’s all about Eve… finally, she wrestles! It was good to see the SmackDown hottie in the ring, but what’s the verdict? I think she shows potential but her timing is awful slow. I want to see her in a one-on-one match to really judge how she’s doing. I would suggest she’s not ready for SmackDown’s Divas division though. Once again, Alicia Fox is on fire and her attire was really cute too. Why is she in this shitty gimmick when she should be wrestling on WWE television?
