Some of it is repeated abit but…
Here is My email to WWE;

This match-up for all the Diva fans out there, was an utter let down. We had the hype, we had all the miss slips and surprises for who will return, and then we get delivered this match. This absolutly appauling match-up; which ‘Santina’ won.

I’ve checked out alot of diva fan sites and there are scores of upset, dissapointed and outraged diva fans who were shocked at how the WWE had this match put together.

Here are all the bad points with the match and its structure;

- The Entrance; All the divas entered to a live performance of Kid Rock, no individule entrances used at all.
- Whos in the match?; Well know one knew, this is because the ring announcer didn’t announce any of the divas who were in the match and just stated what the match was.
- Match start point?; The match started before Kid Rock had finished his performance, this showed us diva fans and non-supporters alike that WWE cared more about a single performance, rather then there performers week-in and week-out.
- Where was Joy & Miss Jackie; I personally didn’t see any of these two divas enter the ring nor get thrown out, and alot of people are saying this over the web also. Weather thats on Diva fan sites or fan pages made on Bebo/MySpace & Facebook, the general agreement is that they wern’t seen so was there any need of them being there?
- ‘Santina’ won!; 25 DIVAS battle royal. Simply because you didn’t get as many diva wanting to participate as you expected you throw Santino into the mix, totally steal the hyped storyline off the divas, dressed him up in drag and let him win!?! Totally mimmicking the Divas.

No Lita! No Trish!
- Two of the most talented women to ever grace the WWF/WWE and neither show up for the biggest wrestling event of the year? Are you friggen kidding me!
I’m absolutly appauled at the way u handled the match and have been turned off paying for any live events in future.

BTW GUYS TRSH WASNT ALLOWED AT WM25 BECASE OF HER BROWN HAIR!

Just saw the photo gallery on WWE.com.

Quite a change in ring attire for Mickie, no pink or bellbottoms, leather clad, biker chick look.

The match was freakin 5 to 6 minutes long, and I had no clue where the divas of the past were! I had to go to wwe.com to see what they were wearing… What I also hated was that the commentators did’nt even acknowledge some of the divas as they were flying out of the ring.

It really did piss me off.

Sorry, but I don’t think that it’s much of a ‘BIG DEAL’ that you need to send WWE threats and hate mail. I really don’t. And I have a bone to pick with those that do… so excuse me now; I’m going to unwind here on Diva Dirt and drop grenades, lol.

You have 25 Divas… think about it. How is it even POSSIBLE for a match with such a large amount of talent involved bound to be a ‘GREAT’ as you put it. Do you really think that everyone would have been able to pull off a spot? That everyone would have been able to have had their Clark Gable close up? Think realistically and logically. The answer is no.

In a nut shell, this was WWE’s way of putting EVERY single Diva on the card, minus the injury-prone Candice Michelle, and even she had a cameo. They all got to participate and they’re all going to get a payout just for being involved.

A disgrace to the fans of WWE Divas would have been for WWE to COMPLEATLY leave the girls off of WrestleMania. But they didn’t. They put your favorites on, and THEN some.

Insert the THEN some… The ‘returning’ Divas were never called LEGENDS. Somewhere, that was plucked from your brain. It was announced that the Divas from the PAST and present would compete in the battle royal. They weren’t exactly rolling out the red carpet for every A-List Diva, but they did lock-in a couple. The basic requirement was that A.) You were on television & B.) That you were relevant. So, from Torrie Wilson to Joy Giovanni, they were DIVAS of the PAST. If they wanted Diva Legends, they would only have a lot of 5 to choose from: Sunny, Sable, Chyna, Lita and Trish. They’re the only girls in their line of business to have shaped the course of the industry. You can count them on one hand and their names are synonymous with WWE fans PAST and present. They banked 1/5 of the ladies and tossed in Mae Young as a bonus measure. There you go.

The only real issue was the ending of the match. Yeah, Santino won, but big deal! Mae Young won Miss Rumble 2000 – you can’t take this stuff to heart. It wasn’t as though the Women’s or Divas Championship was on the line… it was the inaugural Miss WrestleMania Title. Had it been for either championship titles, then I could understand this reaction. But Miss WM? It’s a damn title she can wear around her shoulder as a sash, not a chunk of gold or butterfly pink that goes around her waist.

I can go on and on and on, but to boil it down, the point I’m trying to make… WrestleMania was for all of us Divas fans to enjoy the fact that our ‘girl’ was out there. From an iota of a second to the final four, however long she had lasted… she was still apart of the show. So, the end turned into a comedic skit – again, big deal! It’s a sure bet that that for the rest of the 364 days of the year until the next Mania rolls along, WWE Divas will have another match, they’ll have their “OMG” moments… and hopefully, then, will you be able to smile and let pass without the need of a laxative.

clearly, we arent the only ones who think it was absolutely insulting to the womens division and i hope other sites believe this as well hopefully wwe will take notice!

chrisP, sadly that is true with many people. The Divas themselves get blamed a lot for awful situations such as this. Do people honestly think that the Divas would wish for themselves to be portrayed this way at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania?

Trish vs Natayla or Michelle or Beth.
