Yes, you read that right. While it hasn’t been officially stated by TNA, it looks like Kong may be making a face turn judging by last night iMPACT! In case you aren’t up to date, Angelina Love and her BBFs Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne have been attacking and cutting the hair of rivals to prove their dominance going into Lockdown. They started with Daffney and Taylor Wilde, and last night was no different, as they victimized Raisha Saeed. Kong took on Sky and Rayne in a handicap match later that night. While Kong picked up the win, she ended up on the receiving end of another Mi Pi Sexy attack makeover. Before TBP could snip Kong’s locks, she was saved by Taylor Wilde, an unlikely ally to say the least.
I dont know how I feel about the prospect of Kong becoming a face. She wouldn’t be the first monster heel to turn face, but it would just feel so weird. And it also makes Kong look a bit weak, getting beat up by TBP and all. It seems TNA is pushing Mi Pi Sexy at the expense of the champ, which makes me feel like the title will be making it’s way into TBP’s camp on Sunday. Hopefully, this is just a temporary alliance and after Sunday Kong wiil go back to what she does best: Kicking ass and taking names! Discuss in the comments.

i mean she can still kick ass in the ring just kick ass against the heels
and she doesnt have to be a total babyface she can be a fan favorite of something

TNA booking is so lame, it’s like they book everything on EWR and then if it turns out good on there they do it in real life. None of their Knockout feuds last more than one PPV. Someone will win a title shot, lose against Kong, then they’ll be shunted off completely for the next Knockout to get her shot. The feuds have no meaning, so it’s just like ‘oh, well Kong’s faced all the faces, time to take on all the heels one by one too!’ I can’t stand this backwards booking.
I don’t like TNA’s handling of the Knockout’s Division as of lately which honestly should come as a surprise, because I was at one point in my life a huge fan of the Knockout’s Division. I understand that TNA is going to give Angelina Love what she deserves which is the Knockout’s Championship, at the same time though the viewers (including moi) really weren’t able to take in the fact that TNA was all of a sudden giving Awesome Kong this ‘babyface/tweener’ look. With TNA giving Awesome Kong this ‘babyface’ look it’s truly odd and I don’t think I’m alone on that one. I can’t really even put finger on what’s going on in the Knockout’s Division, because it’s like ever since ‘My Pi Sexy’ had that governer gimmick, Kute Kip was taken off-screen, and Madison Rayne was put on-screen as a ‘Mi Pi Sexy’ trainy they’ve gone down hill. In my opinion, it’s going to take a miracle for me to even compare the Knockout’s to the Divas anymore, because it’s like the Divas took steps forward and the Knockout’s took steps back.
Hmmm…Do you think The beautiful people need Madison ?
In my personal opinion The Beautiful People aka My Pi Sexy don’t need Madison Rayne. I feel as though she’s a useless sidekick to have.
TBP don’t need Madison Rayne, but she needs them. When she came in she was just another face, much like Sojo. However, hooking her up with a prominant stable like TBP put her in the spotlight and prevents her from getting lost in the crowd. Personally, I like Madison. She wrestles way better than Velvet, but she lacks the same charisma, but I’m sure that will come in time.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kong drop the belt since she’s battling with a back injury apparently.
I’d love to see Kong go face, it would be an interesting development, and in all honesty, It would be easy for fans in TNA to want to get behind her, she’s an awesome wrestler and does what we all love best, kicking ass.
Kong is a great wrestler, but she’s basically been champ for the whole time she’s been in TNA, it’d be nice to see another knockout besides her take the crown.
