Over the past few weeks, many of you have noticed the fact that the Women’s Champion, Melina has yet to make her SmackDown debut yet. This coupled with the fact that she was supposedly complaining about moving to the blue-brand, led to speculation that she was in the proverbial ‘doghouse’. Well according to new reports, she is.
WWE management have reportedly benched the Women’s Champ, who is sitting at home on the sidelines waiting to be brought back to television. Melina had been said to be ‘openly complaining’ and emotional over moving to SmackDown. One reason that was given was that earlier this year, she and ex-boyfriend John Morrison had gotten back together and requested to be put on the same brand. Melina was upset that she was moved to SmackDown, but Morrison was still on ECW. Little did she know, that two days later, he would join her.
The real kicker is this…
“It’s not like she’s been an angel all these years,” said one former co-worker regarding the situation. “She’s disposable. It’s not like she’s in a position to bitch.”
Say what you will about the WWE’s treatment of it’s Divas, but when the Women’s Champion is considered ‘disposable’, wow…
Melina, right now, is waiting to get the call to come back on the road. Who knows when that will be?

Melina has a right to whether she’s happy or not. Didn’t maria whine last year saying she felt like being sent to smackdown was a demotion. Nobody was on her case.
ok, i posted this on the smackdown redux yesterday, but it’s more fitting here
i dont really believe this bull about melina being in the doghouse. so many different stories about what she is in have came out and they’re ridicoulous. 1st she cried because she was leaving friends, nothing wrong there, and it made for actually a nice moment having the face champion sad to be leaving her friends, even though she even stated in an interview she was happy to be getting new challenges and going back home. 2nd the whole thing about her being away from morrison is crap. whether or not he had been drafted to smackdown they would have been traveling together anyway. after wrestlemania ecw started touring with smackdown again, so if anything melina was probably happy about moving!!!!! and also maryse got right on raw because there was no one for her to fued with that was already in a fued like michelle and gail were over on smackdown. they’re finishing up this gail/michelle thing so we can have michelle/melna. and after tonight its probably melna/michelle time, they mentioned several times that the winner will probably be the new number 1 contender. so you more than likely will see her next week.
the fact that “somebody” said she is “disposable ” is pretty sad
i doubt they can find someone like Melina she one of a kind like many of the Divas in the WWE rite now i mean im sure they cant say the same thing about idk Batista, Randy Orton, John Cena Triple H, etc.

She may be “disposable” but, how many girls would WWE find that posesses the talent, flexibility, and in ring capability that she does?
If she decides to complain, so what? Like somebody stated above, Maria bitched about moving to Smackdown! and they pushed her when she got there.

DISPOSABLE!! What ever! She has the right to express her emotions. Dispite of all the rumors about her. There is no reason to disrespect Melina. She has achived to earn the status as an women wrestler. Working with all types of individuals through out her career. For a person to make a comment so demeaning is a very low punch. Mr. Vince McMahon who is the owner and his executives. Who obviously did not make that comment. The comment must have came from no one important. Envy is a weakness in people.This person most likely would not say it to her in person! Melina is asset to the organization. She has taken some hard knocks in the past to obtain her status with WWE. People are very competative and will do what ever it takes to advance themselves to the next level. Anything!! Melina is not in anyway out to hurt someone to advance her career. She is extremely intensive and demanding on herself to reach her goal. However, Melina is The Elite Dominate A-List Sensual Diva Women Champion. Her Original Inspirational Sexy Signature Trade Mark Entrance will always be WWE history. The talent of her flexible abilities brings charisma to a sport that at one time was only all men. May she return to continue her triumph in her career. Without anybody being rude to her like that disrespecting comment. I miss her so…..like all her loyal fans….

I can’t see how they can call Melina disposable. She is a great in-ring competitor, and although i did prefer her as a heel on SD! to being heel or face over on Raw, she really has upp’d her game in the last several years. She may have been disposable back in her FCW days but not any more =D
I’m looking forward to Melina returning as i really like the fluent wrestling between Melina & Michelle. I’m also looking forward to seeing Melina tag with Gail, Maria & Eve tooo =)
Let’s face facts if you’re a Diva in the WWE, you’re disposable. In terms of the pecking order in WWE, the Divas are practically on the bottom rung and are treated as filler. So there’s really no way that the WWE are going to let any Diva whether it be Melina or whomever get away with openly complaining and let them get away with it, especially with her past history of attitude and backstage problems
livedi696, could you be anymore less knowledgeable in your answer? I wasn’t fucking talking about women in general, I’m talking about the women in the WWE. You obviously DO NOT know what disposable means but people like you wouldn’t. Disposable in the WWE, means anyone can be replaced and you know what? Melina can be replaced? She’s not valuable to them. She’s not a draw for them compared to Beth, Mickie and it’s not like she’s been the most exciting of the bunch lately either. They don’t need Melina. They’ve always done just fine without her. And that goes for any WWE diva.
So go and learn what the term actually means before you go and try and make things personal.

Melina is NOT disposable. She is basically the whole package! She’s got the look, talent, attitude and wrestling ability to make a great match. I think that if she were to ever get released or something, TNA would defenitely be interested on signing her.
