This week’s house show results vastly contradict the picture painted by reports late last week of WWE officials ‘souring’ on Gail Kim. The Diva notched up a weekend of victories at SmackDown live events, teaming with Eve Torres in matches against Layla and Natalya.
If said rumours were to be believed, one would think Gail would be jobbing out to her rivals. As I wrote last week, I think that it’s highly coincidental that these rumours surface at a time where Gail is on a losing streak on television. I wouldn’t read much into televised wins and losses as they are used to push storylines, and as it happens, Michelle – not Gail – is currently being pushed, one must assume as the top contender for Melina.
PS: Gail & Eve vs Layla & Natalya? Can we get that on TV?

First off this mass hysteria about WWE souring on Gail Kim is just that … mass hysteria. It is refreshing to visit websites and Forums where someone still believes in Gail Kim and what she is doing.
Second WWE creative and management have told Kim that she will be playing second fiddle to Michelle McCool as McCool is heading toward acquiring that Women’s belt, and with Gail’s help and Gail loosing she will obtain it by being put in the position to take it from Melina, and then we will see what a Kim/McCool feud there will be, and if Gail Kim uses even one third of her professional skill she will have that belt in no time flat leaving McCool flat on the mat.
In the meantime Gail Kim is winning in house shows and no doubt will continue to win in House Shows as long as Michelle McCool is NOT on those programs. I am looking forward to another Kim win tonight in Indiana, and then we will see what is in store for Gail Kim tomorrow night on SmackDown in Dayton, Ohio. I would expect another loss to Michelle McCool or perhaps Layla and Michelle vs. Gail and a finally returning Melina.

I heard the crowds were dead for those tag matches (as expected). However, the Maryse-Mickie matches at the Raw shows this weekend apparently not only went over well but were given nearly 10 minutes at each of the 3 shows. Their matches were advertised to have Santino (not Santina) as the referee, but he wasn’t there.
One funny note I read is that before Friday’s match in Erie, PA, Maryse was outside of the ring bitching at the crowd when she went up to a guy, told him to give her a kiss on the cheek, and the dude actually went for it. As everyone but him probably expected, Maryse pulled away and laughed at him.
Also, as far as Gail, who knows. I don’t put much stock into the house show matches as far as things like who was heat. If Gail gets pinned by Layla or Alicia anytime soon, something may be up, though.
mayrse vs Mickie seemed a little dead to me IMO. There was nothing good about the match and I think the chemistry was off. I think people give Mayrse way to much credit IMO.But I am glad to see Layla, Gail Kim, Eve Torres are involved in tag team match against eachother.

I was talking about their house show matches over the weekend, which have been getting positve reviews. From my eariler post….

I agree. When I seen the match I thought it was awkward, but apparently everyone was giving it good reviews. Maryse to me, just doesn’t it. I know she’ll improve with time with her selling and ring skills ( I personally hate it when opponents barely carry Mickie for the MickieDT spot ) and her gimmick is just basically an arrogant chick. I can’t call her overrated since she’s getting good reviews, but .. I don’t know. Still out on the jury.

Maybe the reason why Mickie & Maryse have been at houseshows a lot is to get more chemistry. I think they both pulled it off well on Monday Night Raw, wasn’t bad, but they need time to adjust and know one anothers moveset & offence.
Gail Kim – if Gail was here now, I’d tell her she were better off in TNA. No offence to WWE though however Gail seemed more dominant in TNA, she was used to the best of her ability and was clearly fan favourite. Maybe..just maybe soon WWE will use her more accurate, or they are making her lose to get a sympathy connection between the fans and Gail so that Gail gets more of the crowd behind her in the matches.
Hopefully with any luck gail kim will be fight for the women’s championship Soon

About Judgement Day, I really don’t mind seein Maryse-Mickie again, I’m not that into singles matches between two divas that I don’t love, I think they good chemistry, It’s better than Gail-Maryse but oh well…I dunno!!
WWE is so soured on Gail Kim that they let her win this Friday’s SmackDown Diva match with Melina her new partner.

I don’t know if we’d should want to see it. All the live reports of these matches I found said they were really bad matches with dead crowds. Plus, Layla was apparently a disaster, screwing up moves and trying to tag Natalya during Monday night’s match while standing right beside her on the apron (Natalya had to tell her that you have to be inside the ring to make a tag).
