You’ve read the rumors that Melina is currently off the road due to heat she’s received for complaining about her move to SmackDown. Whether the “heat” rumors are true or not is still up for debate, but the real question is: Why hasn’t she debuted on SmackDown? Could things really be that bad that they keep their Women’s Champion off TV for several weeks? Well, according to the wrestling news sites, there may be another reason she hasn’t graced our television sets just yet:
WWE Women’s champion Melina has been off the road due to a bout with strep throat.
So which is it – uncontrollable bitchiness or a medical condition? I’d like to think the latter, but who knows – if Melina has complained half as much as the rumors suggest, she must have developed quite the sore throat.

All that bitching, whining and complaining she’s been doing must have hurt her throat.
Its just so funny that someone is not on TV for a week and all of a sudden the newZ sites just decide t make shit up.
Poor Melina, I’ve had strep throat before, its bloody awful.
Whoa..or maybe its a cover-up! Maybe Melina has been bitching etc but WWE don’t want any media hyping it up so they say she has Strep Throat just to keep it quiet..but haha WWE its already spiraling outta control. Im guessing Melina did moan once or twice and WWE officials told her to take a back seat and deal with what she has.
This Melina was complaining thing is getting old and with NO PROOF to go on other than just plan ol’ assumption I’ve become bored with the rumor altogether, whether she was complaining or not I’m tired of hearing about it.
How Ironic is this…all of a sudden she has strep throat…I mean come on wwe just say ya pissed at her for crying when she got drafted. We all know what wwe is really trying to say and do. They want to strip the title off melina and give it to the underserving Michelle Mccool. Maybe she does have strep throat if she does i hope she gets better and comes bak and kick some ass.
