In case you missed the commentary last night on Raw, WWE have seemingly launched a new moniker for the WWE Divas – “Sexy, smart and powerful.” The phrase was uttered several times during the two Divas matches on Raw and has since been added to the WWE.com Divas page.

It looks as though “Sexy, smart and powerful” replaces the old moniker of “The sexiest women on television.”

What do you think? Are you for or against? Do you prefer the old one?

  1. Lol
I noticed the addition on the site about 9oclock last night =P
I thought it was new but i havn’t been on there in awhile so wasn’t going to say anything yet.

Then, when watching Raw this morning, i heard it and was like :O
… ‘I know that phrase’ Lol
Anyways, im not sure which i prefer yet ….

    lol

  2. Sexy, smart, powerful… I like it. It’s a step in the right direction for marketing the Divas.

  3. the old one is catchier, but at least this new one doesn’t regulate them to pieces of meat.

  4. This one makes them seem like they’re to be taken more seriously, so I likes it for now.

  5. I like it, but I wonder why they didn’t use “strong” instead of “powerful”? “Strong, smart, sexy” would flow better, I think.

  6. Im liking this. It has more of a catch to it and makes the Divas look like they have a place in WWE. The word Sexy, Smart & Powerful isn’t just a slogan it has a meaning and it proves all the divas are Smart, Sexy and Powerful!

  7. ChrisP i dont think replacing pwerful with strong makes it sound catchy. Its good but powerful looks like more dominant. Maybe this is a sign for the future. As the saying goes when things fall apart (fall of the divas division) lots of things fall together (rise of the divas division) :D

  8. i like both
    they are both catchy =]

  9. Very catchy!
This is just another step for the womens division getting lots more respect! :D

  10. I hope they actually follow this ” sexy, smart and powerful ” motto instead of signing Hawaii Tropic models every year. Oh, and do they always have to abide by the ” sexy ” rule? Can they just go ahead and sign the ” smart and powerful ” in Roxxi ( although she’s sexy to me ) and Arielle from SHIMMER?

  11. SEXY, SMART, POWERFUL? Nice! More beautiful if Santina wasn’t a WWE diva!
