Today we’re taking a look back Michelle McCool‘s early days in DSW. Here Michelle takes on Hawaiian Diva Tracy Taylor. Check it out below:

Michelle McCool vs Tracy Taylor

This was a pretty good match albeit very fundamental. For we saw McCool being carried through a match, as Tracy has the upperhand in experience. There was several spots in the match where both girls seemed to be at a loss as to what to do. Headlock? Roll-up? Aww hell, let’s just wing it. Even with all the flaws in the match, McCool show flashes of brillance throughout. A future champion, indeed. What did you guys think of the match. Sound off in the comments!

  1. Haha how far she has come. I definitely think she is the best female talent to be trained in any of WWE’s developmental systems.

  2. Not a fan of hers but Ill admit she def. has improved and by far the best that has come out of the Diva Search competition.

  3. Are Michelle and Tracy wearing the same shorts? They look very similar.

I’ll agree that she is the best to come out of developmental. Her match here in DSW is a lot better than some matches that the developmental girls already in the WWE have.

  4. Michelle McCool has definitely come a long way… what I want to know is why WWE would ever release someone like Tracy Taylor? What were they thinking when they released Tracy, Shantelle, Angel, Trudi Denucci, or LaTasha Marzolla? They’ve got to be hating the fact that they had their hands on a talent like Angel and let her go.

  5. hard work and determination will get you places. As for how the WWE could release some of the talents mentioned by Beau. It may be that at the time either those performers were not as good then as they are now. Or the WWE was looking for other qualities that they didn’t have or show at the time. It happens in pro sports all the time where an excellent player will be released by a team and thought to be a failure and go to another team and be great. As for Michelle, what isn’t mentioned a lot is that she no only didn’t win her season of the Diva search, she was voted out fairly early. The WWE signed her to a developmental deal anyway which means they saw something in her that was missed by people voting for the Diva contestants at the time.

  6. I understand how some girls might not have had exactly what WWE was looking for at the time, but when you think about it, they had girls like Brooke Adams and Rebecca DiPietro that were on TV; not to mention Maria, Candice, Christy, etc… It’s just sad to see some great talent released prior to an official debut w/ the major roster – all while girls w/ zero experience are handed roles on television. Where’s the logic?

  7. Very very very good sport? Haha. Good one, Michelle.

  8. I do agree she has came a long way she has improved but she still needs a character in her.But in the end Mccool is a great wrestler and is the best out of all the diva search girls. But she had her time as Champion and as a Top Face. Let somebody else shine maybe.
