Kelly Kelly can not wrestle.
All she does is forearm shots, a botched headscissors takedown, flips and thats it.
but I’ll give props to Kelly for showing that she wants to improve more.
I still want to see that Moonsault that Kelly has been talking about in recent and past interviews.
I really don’t like Kelly. To me, she’s just one of those girls who are there because of their looks and not their wrestling ability. I mean, this is the girl that stripped on ECW. In the ring, all she does is that whirly-bird headscissors and when her leg is caught and she spends 30 seconds jumping up and down on one leg before she finally does a backflip. You call that wrestling? As much as I support the WWE Divas, I just reallly don’t like how she’s being pushed for a Diva’s Championship when there are much better Divas than her.
You do know Kelly is only 22, right? Since being fully active on Raw, she’s improved greatly from when she first started. She’s still learning. All the top Divas who can wrestle are around 30. If Kelly keeps it up, imagine how good she’ll be by that time. While it may be too early for Kelly to get a title run, pushes in the company are sometimes due to crowd reaction, and the fans clearly are behind her. Did I mention Kelly’s only 22?

she came in not knowing how to wrestle at all, now she isnt picking it up as fast as say trish did or even alicia, but nobody can deny she is getting better. also wwe are clever for not allowing her to have huge dominating victories every week too. funny thing tho, if melina and candice were never injured, she wouldnt be on raw, she was only moved there due to Mickie being the only face. i think she would be fit perfectly in Smackdown at the moment. but shes doing good on raw too

Who cares about the age difference???. what does that have to do with this topic. WWE did’nt push Kelly because of crowd reaction..WWE pushed her because she’s their resident Eye Candy.
Kelly acts like she’s all that when she wrestle but in the past when she got beat the s**t out of her by Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Shelly Martinez, Victoria..she crys like a little b***h.
yeah she did came not knowing how to wrestle because WWE brought her up quick to ECW in 2006 due to the re-launch. She was suppose to stay at OVW along with Alicia Fox when both got hired in May 2006. Here’s the truth when Kelly Kelly was on ECW in 2006, WWE started to tell her to go down to OVW to learn to how to wrestle…she didn’t wanted to because she thought being on ECW…she wasn’t going to go to OVW anymore so eventually WWE told Kelly, Layla, Brooke Adams to go down to FCW when it was opened last year to train more..they did just a few shows FCW did and thats it.
yeah she was that girl who stripped to her bra & panties because WWE knew she wasn’t going have anything to do on ECW. WWE tried to push Kelly by trying to make Francine Fournier job to her a lot of bikini contests in ECW house shows in 2006 but that didn’t work since mostly a lot of them Francine won due to the fans.
yeah WWE is clever on not having her get victories on RAW because they know fans are not going to like it.
and i got to agree with Jenny…why is Kelly getting pushed for the Divas title since WWE made it clear after the draft of moving the Divas title to RAW to make it more vaulable.
Spike7000 – Yes, all divas do get hired fully or partially due to there looks. You may be using Beth, Natalya, Shelly & Victoria as some examples, but they are all very good looking women. Some of those may be sporting a bigger wrestling gear size but they are all very good beautiful women :P
And you may not like hearing this, But both Kelly Kelly & Layla have improved ALOT in the last year. Kelly was originally set as a sort of ‘dummie’ push, as you seen in the #1 contenders battle royal the other week, the ending to the match was originally to push mickies future encounter with Maryse, hence the hair spray to mickie via Maryse.
Spike not every one said kelly kelly was improving or give her a chance.Imnot really a fan of kelly kelly but she does deseve some credit she has improved and has earned some peoples respect.Kelly Kelly is way better of a wrestler than maria.Maria cant even do a damn cat fight right.Spike I think you need to give kelly kelly a chance.This is exactly what i was talking about in that Candice issue.Some people need to stop dobuting her yes she keeps getting injured but that isnt her fault if her body is that fragile then what do u want her to do.If every one gave Michelle a chance then Kelly Kelly deserves one too. It sucks that the Divas didn’t get a match on the ppv again. But did anyone else think that at the beginning of the ppv when Lilian announced the first match as a Fatal Four Way, that just maybe it was Maryse v Beth v Mickie v Kelly for the Divas Title.
I hadn’t read about the United States Title being defended, so i was really disappointed.
Spike you are being rather harsh and plz dont talk about “the truth of kelly kelly” when as far as i know your not a wwe official, so you dont know any truths. at least she trained to get better, unlike others *cough maria *cough*, dont get me wrong, maria looked quite good in the wwe superstars match bt still has not learnt enough. kelly kelly has tried to get better and your one of the few not giving her a chance. she seems genuinely nice geniunely wants to try her best as a wrester. yes she does flips and such which doesnt really count as wrestling and yes she botched her handspring at first bt has recently hit it a few times (slightly offcourse) bt her headscissors is not botched. she pulls tht off reasonably well i feel and matches tht she and beth have had have been enjoyable AND believable. i feel these two compliment each other perfectly.
and she doesnt act “all that” in the ring, she just acts like shes paid to do and “crying like a b***ch” again…acting!
also she may only have done a few shows bt tht doesnt mean she didnt do any training! they dont show the training as far as i know so…
honestly, i am currently in training and it is the hardest thing ive ever had to do but im taking it at my leisure, im never getting in the ring till i feel ready mentally. kelly kelly does not have that leisure. she trained while appearing on tv. suddenly wwe wanted her to wrestle which must have put alot of pressure on her and people like you, spike, just ready to criticise her because shes a gorgeous blonde and isnt at the level of mickie and beth, because she hasnt necessarily “paid her dues”, well shes paying them now, shes doing all she can do at the moment shes TRYING!

I cant believe that hogpen match was chosen over a divas match, its a disgrace, 5 minutes of Vicky Guerrero rolling around like a pig, I nearly got sick. The rest of the ppv was great and having a womens/divas title match wouldve been the cherry on top, but that didn’t happen.
@ Spike7000 – I think your being a little harsh on Kelly, sure she definitely aint the best wrestler on the roster but compared to how she started she has come a really long way. She is only in her early 20′s , so if she does decide to stay in the business she could end up going a long way over time.

Candice Michelle [30] – WWE at 26.

As you can see, most don’t even make their in-ring TV debut until around 25. A few started out earlier. None were teenagers with no prior wrestling experience like Kelly. Everyone on that list is an established wrestler and none were thrown out their in front of sold out arenas like Kelly. She’s doing pretty well, mistakes and all, given the circumstances.
BTW, who is more famous for forearm shots than Trish? Hmmm, wonder where Kelly gets it from…….

I think that Kelly can wrestle. Sure, she hasn’t been the best wrestler in the WWE but she is slowly making her way there. And I think the she would be a good Divas Champion.
