Diva Dirt has learned that WWE has signed a new developmental talent in British wrestler, Jemma Palmer better known as ‘Inferno’ on the recently cancelled British version of American Gladiators.
23-year-old Palmer is currently in the United States and is expected to start with WWE this summer.
Palmer has previously had several affiliations with WWE; she took part in a tryout for the company in November 2005 in Manchester, England along with current WWE Diva, Katie Lea. She was invited to take part in the WWE Diva Search and was featured in WWE Magazine as a ‘Sexy Superfan of the Month’ (see above).
In the past couple of years, Palmer was Gladiator Inferno on the Sky1 revival of the classic Gladiators series, which was cancelled in May freeing her up for new projects.
In an interview with Diva Dirt last year, Jemma told us she was still in contact with the company and a ‘full developmental deal would be amazing’. Looks like she got her wish! Read our full interview with Jemma by clicking here.

Hmm…whatever happened to April Jeanette?
I remeber seeing her in the WWE magazine. IMO shes not really much to lok at, in my eyes she just another model. Which I don’t like WWE hiring…
& how ironic is it that every girl in the WWE magazines, the “sexy superfan” always has previous relations with wrestling buisnesses, why not choose a sexy real superfan!

I want her to go back to the red hair if she’s blonde right now. It would really set her apart in the WWE, a lot of the blonde girls just blend together.
But, the hair aside, I am really glad that WWE has actually signed a real wrestler. Those are somewhat few and far between in WWE Divas.
