Tonight on Raw, Vince McMahon announced his plan to move 15 Superstars and Divas to various brands in a move to “shake up” the rosters (even though we had a draft 2 months ago, but shhhh..). The moves have been announced on WWE.com, and here are the Divas making a move:
To Raw:
- Gail Kim
- Alicia Fox
To SmackDown:
- Natalya (with the Hart Dynasty)
To ECW:
- Brie & Nikki Bella
So, what does this mean for the Divas? Will Brie & Nikki officially fall off the WWE’s radar? What about Natalya – will this move actually allow her to wrestle now, even though she’s still with the Hart Dynasty? Will Gail stay babyface? Will Michelle survive without her minion Alicia? Iam really pissed that they moved Alicia to Raw. She was just coming into her own on Smackdown.

I think it’s stupid to have a mini draft after we just had one two months ago. But what do I know?
All I gotta say is Maria must be loving this. She just got a step higher on the totum pole over on SD.
I DO NOT want Gail Kim to move to RAW. I wanted her to feud with Michelle McCool and Melina for the Women’s Title. She might just be pushed aside for the likes of Kelly Kelly and Mickie James. SmackDown is the place to be for Diva’s action, not RAW. Maybe her and Beth Phoenix will have a great feud, as they are both great wrestlers. I was looking forward for Gail to be in a triple threat match with Michelle McCool and Melina at NOC. Maybe now Natalya will get that honor, since she definitely deserves it. We’ll see how this trade goes for the Divas.
I wish they had not moved alicia or gail but I understand why. Raw really needs the help ,they have not been doin to good as of late.
I don’t think moving Gail to Raw was a good decision. I mean now she’ll have to contend with both Mickie james and Kelly Kelly for the Top Face spot and considering how reliable Mickie has been for WWE in the past and WWE’s love affair with Kelly Kelly, I don’t like Gail Kim’s chances over on Raw. She may get stuck as Raw’s residential Jobber for the Faces.
This also really weakens Smackdown’s Division by a lot. Yes they get Natalya, but right now the division consists of McCool, Natalya and Layla on the Heel side, but the Face side now consists of Melina, Eve and Maria. Chances are now very high that Eve or Maria will become Women’s Champion in the very near future.
Best thing to happen to Raw (including the 3 guys they got). Gail puts cred back on their Divas roster. She can restart her feud with Maryse once the belt is dropped to Mickie. I wonder if Alicia replaces Rosa, who has been pretty awful.
I question if Natalya will wrestle much to start since they’re still building up the Hart Dynasty. Eve and Layla need to step their game up, because Melina and Michelle can’t fight each other every week. Maria back in the frame?
Bellas don’t do much for ECW. Women rarely wrestle on a show anyway. At least it’s better than getting released. They’re too pretty to keep off camera. Make ‘em twin GM’s!
I have mixed feelings about this.. for the Bellas all I could say is I wonder what the heck they are going to do on ECW and though many of you are probably happy for this I feel kind of bad for them. I am loving Natalya’s move to SD because she can be like Melina was with MNM. Compete in matches and still manage her team when needed. Natalya will also have a chance to feud with Melina or McCool again and hopefully hold Womens gold sometime soon. A. Fox did not need to go to RAW bad move because she will just get buried by Kelly. A. Fox seemed to be developing well into SD and now this happens. Gail Kim to RAW will be good because she will add a lot of the excitement needed on the RAW Diva roster. I am just gonna be very annoyed if she is pushed off to the side for Kelly and Mickie. Gail would be a great match for Beth, Mickie and Jillian. And she will most likely be the first triple crown champ which is amazing because of all womens wrestlers in the business today Gail definitely deserves it.
I actually don’t think Alicia will be forgotten, Though i agree she’s was doing great on Smackdown, i feel like RAW will open to her to a wider audience. I hope that this move is based off of the great work she’s been putting in as of late, the girl i really worry about is Jillian she hasn’t been on T.V. in how long? She’s should be on Smackdown where i think they’d make better use of her. But I must say I’m liking Natalya back on Smackdown, we might actually get to see her face Melina which could be amazing.
Gail deserves this move the most, She’ll probably take the place of Top face on the RAW brand and i have a feeling Mickie won’t win the title come Night of Champions. I know one thing I’m so ready to See Gail Kim vs Beth Phoenix, man talk about POTENTIAL with that one!
LOL and poor bellas, man WWE must of realized RAW was not meant for them, they’ll probably milk the twin thing by pairing the girls with some up and comer in ECW. Maybe also have some run ins with Katie Lea as well, so who knows maybe it won’t be so bad for them.
Smackdown has been the prime spot for the WWE Divas right now, and with Gail and Alicia gone, hopefully things don’t go too bad for Smackdown’s women’s division. At least Natalya has a chance to get her hands on the Women’s title. And perhaps since Angela Fong has been doing Smackdown house shows she’ll be up and running soon enough.The Bella Twins are where they should be. I’m gonna actually miss Alicia on Smackdown. Being associated with Michelle McCool allowed her to show Alicia’s sass out in the ring. And for Gail Kim…think of it this way…she’s one step closer to being a triple crown champion. History in the making? I think so…

Gail Kim to raw really has put a frown on my face. I dnt think this was the best move for her considering she has to compete with Mickie and Kelly. Alicia moving to raw was also a total shocker she was really doing well on smackdown they should have left well alone,
Bella twins to ECW was expected I actually thought they were going to be on ECW 2 months ago during the draft
i really hope angela debuts on smackdown as a face. i really dont wanna see maria back wrestling full timee. and im afraid that might happend after thiss. if maria starts wrestling reguraly again after thiss. then thats my only complaintt.
hey look at it this way now gail has the oppertunity to become the first woman to hold all three titles im glad they moved natalya to smackdown now we get to see her in action agaim…..finally raw might actually be worth watching now that gail and alica are there…
I’ve been loving the Maryse-Mickie storyline, so I was feeling positive about Raw anyways but now Gail Kim is on Raw with only the Bellas leaving? Awesome.

Ok, i was shocked to see a draft last night, but i dont understand why they moved alicia to raw, its a really bad move . now gail to raw, thats great, she can wrestle beth & become a grand slam champion. natalya to smackdown, thats good, now she can get the womens title but melina is the only good babyface that can wrestle. bella twins to ecw, that doesnt bother me. they will get released. what about katie lea, why didnt they move her to smackdown or raw
I think its safe to say WWE has plans for every superstar involved in this draft. Whether they’re being moved to spruce up a stumbling division (Gail and Alicia), made into managers (The Bellas most likely) or to accompany their stable (Natalya). My biggest concern is Smackdown. Now that Gail and Alicia are gone, we’ll probably be seeing Melina vs Michelle for the next 4 months a la Mickie vs Beth. Or god forbid, You-know-who might start wrestling again.
Some of the moves were benefitial, the bella twins are definietly not Raw material maybe they can get over on ECW or feud with Katie Lea/Tiffany in some way. Natalya to smackdown is benefitial if she wrestles, but knowing the creative they will not use her effectively. I dont like Alicia or gail moving from smackdown, Alicia was a rising star on smackdown and shes still a bit green, with Gail leaving the smackdown diva division takes a hit – the only credible face is Melina now and there is only really one over heel – Michelle, smackdown will definietly take a blow. I think Jillian should go to Smackdown when she returns!
Well we can see Natalya challenge for the women’s title now. I don’t give a damn about the Bella’s. Alicia should have stayed on SD!. Gail can get more attention on RAW maybe. Jillian should have moved to ECW too.
I think Smackdown really needs to work hard to keep there divas divison up sense the women’s championship is over there.Smackdown really needs to step it up.Especially sense they lost gail kim.

I’ve got mixed reactions from this, Im glad for Natalya and Gail Kim. As for The Bellas, I really don’t care at all, coulnd’t they just be released…oh well, I hope they have a mini feud with Katie Lea, with Ms Burchill winning all matches of course :D
Alicia, oh well, I hope they’re going to do something with her, because it just seems that is just to fill the RAW Roster :P and I feel concerned for SmackDown!, Eve as 2nd top face?? WEIRD, Maria as a wrestler?? SCARY…
I lost all my confidence on Jillian Hall, it was the right opportunity WWE, why do you keep her on the bag, she could’ve been sent to SmackDown! or at least ECW…

I’m happy since RAW is the main show and all and really needed a stronger Divas division. Losing two awful workers and gaining a promising up and comer and a solid veteran tips the scales in their favor. Smackdown even got Nattie to make up for the loss of Gail, though I do see the huge hole in the face side. Gail/Melina is also still my most wished for feud, but that wasn’t going to happen anyway with them both on the same side. Maybe someday…
RAW’s improvements came at Smackdown! and ECW’s expense. (not just divas). Alicia was one of the only women in a storyline and they move her? While RAW could use her do we really think we will get any chracter development out of it? We now have one heel and one face to contend for the belt on Smackdown! uhhh ohhh.
Alicia will play the same role to Maryse as to Michelle. This will work better as Maryse is the sneaky heel who needs a lot of help to win whereas Michelle ist the superheel who dominates everybody (Alicias intervention on Sunday came out of the blue because nobody expectes Melina to get the win in this situation).
Charisma-wise Maryse will either dominate Alicia or they will be the best tandem in a long time.
Gail Kim’s arrival points to a Maryse win against Mickie and a Maryse-Gail Kim match at the submission PPV, which is conveniently located in Montreal (Maryse going over there will cause an uproar in the Internet community ten times bigger than the current one because of Michelle making Melina weak for weeks).
Natalya’s future is very unclear to me. I would expect Michelle to win against Eve. Maria and Layla the next months.
I hope the Bella twins get a chance to improve while wrestling against Katie Lea.
Im so pissed, Smackdown has been weakened. As great as Natalya is, she cant make up for losing both Gail and Alicia, and will probably just be used in a managing role. Alicia move to Raw is too early, her and Mccool were developing nicely, and I really see her becoming Jillian 2 now. Im ok with Gail moving to Raw, but I was really excited to see a Gail/Michelle feud, but now I see a Gail/Maryse feud which doesnt excite me at all. The best of the draft is the Bellas moving to ECW, that had to be done. But all in all I think it was too early to shake it up again and WWE has really messed this one up.
I’m pretty annoyed that McFoxxy has been broken up. Alicia will just become a pure jobber on RAW unfortunately. I’m glad Natalya’s back on SD, I’d like to see her and Michelle start teaming up with the common goal of dominating the women’s division, then she turns face or something and we see Michelle/Natalya feud again. I’m thinking their feud would be a lot better now, considering how far Michelle has come. :D
im just wondering where this leaves jillian, the raw roster now has 3 faces and 5 heels, so someone has to turn face, and i would love jillian to come back face and be dominate for a while, but i can also see beth/rosa splitting up with maybe rosa being face

moving to Smackdown is the push that Natalya needs for her career. i think it could lead to her winning the womens championship now she’s established herself with The Hart Dynasty.
i think on Raw, Gail Kim & Alicia Fox will be misused, Alicia was just coming into her own on Smackdown, and Gail was the second top face.

if i am honest i like these moves…..
1. ALICIA FOX – maybe she can get a better singles career, instead of hiding in Michelle’s shadows even though she is a great manager, she could even manage a superstars but i like the idea of her in a singles career.
2. THE BELLA TWINS – well to be honest they wasn’t doing anything on raw except silly backstage segments or jobbing to divas, so i think ecw could do something interesting with her, and maybe Katie will get a chance to finally wrestle.
3. NATALYA NEIDHART – i really can see Hart Dynasty doing well on Smackdown, also maybe Smackdown could make Tyson Kidd and DH Smith the unified tag team champions and have Natalya womans champion to show that they are the most dominant team in wwe, also i feel the Natalya and Michelle fued never really ended so maybe they could carry it on as to heels facing off against one another, The Hart Dynasty could also cheat to help Natalya win blocking off all of Michelle’s cheating.
4. GAIL KIM – i really love this move the most! Gail Kim going back to what i see as her home brand, for some reason i like Gail much more on Raw, though i would like to see Gail vs Melina, now we get the chance to see Gail vs Beth which could be very interesting, also on Smackdown Michelle stole her limelight (as she does with everyone, because lord knows if Michelle looses Smackdown couldn’t take it) so Gail could maybe get a push for the divas championship which i would love. Though Mickie is getting a push a fued has to end somewhere also you can always have more than one number one contender.
5. EXTRA COMMENT – whyyyyyy theeeee heeeeeeelll did Jillian not get drafted to maybe Smackdown, i am so flustrated! Its not like Raw needs her, to be honest i see a “future endevour” moment coming for Jillian, which is really sad because she is awesome and has so much potential but for some reason wwe won’t let her showcase this, ever since Jillian was drafted from Smackdown to Raw her career went downhill, so please wwe tell me, why not send her back to smackdown or maybe ecw so she can tag with Katie and face the Bella Twins?
My complaint is that they take away two of the people who make Smackdown great, and send them to RAW where they probably won’t get used to be great. Now, Smackdown is very weakened and besides Melina, our faces are Eve and Maria (Layla?), none of which are very good wrestlers, to be honest. I don’t like where the Smackdown Divas are going after this unless WWE has some type of big plans.
I’m just so stunned!I missed raw yesterday and THIS happens!I feel so bad for Smackdown,it finally became the ‘it’ brand!The only logical thing would be to send Jillian to Smackdown and turn her face,I mean,do you guys remember when she turned face in 2005?!Did you hear those cheers?!It was crazy!Man,I’m so sad! =(
Yea i am not to excited about this it overloads Raw with divas, and yea it limits smackdown severly but hopefully they will get some new divas, from development, in the mix. But who knows, well be prepared for melina vs mccool for the rest of the summer.
Raw clearly benefited the most from this mini draft, however the draft was pointless with the exception of The Bella Twins who aren’t doing too bad on Extreme Championship Wrestling. We might possibly be witnessing another feud between the twins, and let’s be honest… most prefer them fighting each other rather than being tagged up. I am hoping for the feud to start up and stay that way, because I’ve grown tired of the twins dressing the same, acting basically the same, and etc. HOWEVER, Raw clearly is not going to use their Divas properly. With MARYSE & MICKIE JAMES there it was pointless for the likes of Gail Kim and Alicia Fox to be drafted there. Why break McFox up? At least give us an explantion on what happen with the alliance rather than doing the split up like the DJ Gabriel & Alicia Fox thing which was a horrible ending by the way.
Raw has too many Divas, and they aren’t using them properly either. Stop throwing Mickie & Maryse in the spotlight and allow for the other Divas like Jillian to at least have some glory. It’s irritating watching the same two Divas come out to the ring, make eye contact, and still have this not so grand feud. The feud between Maryse & Mickie is alright, but it’s like Raw doesn’t care about Jillian nor Beth who has some what rised up. Rosa should have went over to either Smackdown or ECW though… bad move to keep her there on Raw when she hasn’t been impressing us live. However, I’m some what happy to see Gail on Raw, but then again I’m not… she hasn’t gotten the chance to even feud with McCool for the championship, however she might get the chance to feud with Maryse for the championship. I don’t know though…
Jillian should have went to Smackdown, Rosa should have went to either Smackdown or ECW, and Alicia Fox should have stayed on Smackdown. The other trades were alright, however breaking up feuds in the making was terrible, and this is why the Divas division will never be what it was… the feuds don’t last long enough, the feuds aren’t good enough, and that’s the problem.
Eh, I’ll just wait and see to make a strong opinion on Smackdown this week without Gail and Alicia, however ECW has upgraded thanks to the twins (I hope they feud), and Raw is well…. ‘boring.’ I hope Alicia and Gail spice it up, and let us face it – the WWE put Gail and Alicia on Raw because Raw was lacking spice. The fans love Kelly, Mickie, and even Maryse, however when you compared that to the Alicia, Michelle, Gail, and Melina thing it just couldn’t top it. Let us not think too bad about Smackdown yet, because we haven’t even seen the tapping to say it’s terrible without Fox and Kim.
Yeah I dont think that was a good move to place Gail & Alicia on Raw. Alicia was doing great on SD following Michelle.I was hoping we would see a triple threat match at NOC Gail vs Melina vs Michelle.Now on SD all we r going to see is Melina vs Michelle unless they turn Natalya face.I just know that Gail Kim will only be in the back to Mickie & Kelly.I also hope we dont see Kelly kelly pin alicia 10x every week,but I could just see it now.
I also think Jillian should have went to Smackdown had a face turn and competes for the next womens champion.She & Melina cam team up again like there good old heel days.I really hope they dont release Jillian.I pray they dont she has so much potential she made a great face she can do it again.I would have been satisfied if Gail stayed on SD,Jillian to Sd.Katie to Raw,Rosa to ECW.

Jillian as a FACE!!!! I could see it work. Back in 2006 she did a short stint with Melina where she was the face and then when Ashley came abored, she still was a face but sharply turned heel again, that work again maybe have a segment where she listens to a recording of herself and it messes up her brain lol something like in OVW where she got breast implants!!! Thay would be funny and that way all you have 4 faces vs. 4 heels.

Over on SmackDown looks like another Santino/Maria storyline will take place [:( here we go again)] lol. But it looks like she’ll be used more, who knows maybe the reason she was gone was because she was working hard more, you never know. But of course, look to see Melina vs. Michelle for a long while that is until Natalya comes into the picture. Speaking of Natalya, don’t expect her to wrestle too soon she’s still in the valet storyline, but eventually! And since the Hart Dynasty were defeated by Cryme Tyme on SD! and Eve is doing the word up segments, will we get to see Eve vs. Natalya? Also looks like Alicia’s role will be filled up by Layla and Gail’s by Maria.
