‘Creative Team Meeting’ is back! This is the feature where we look at the week of WWE television ahead and offer our opinion on how the Creative Team should book each show when it comes to the Divas.
Welcome back to a new round of creative solutions to the week’s TV! After doing dual tapings two weeks ago, Raw returns to it’s live format this week while SmackDown and ECW tape tomorrow night. So let’s see how I would book the week ahead…
Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, July 13th
So Raw has two new Divas but it also has a Divas Championship match in a couple of weeks at Night of Champions. Following last week, when Gail pinned Maryse, you need to give the Divas Champ some momentum. I think the logical move would be to have Maryse pin Gail this week on Raw. However that would also kill Gail’s momentum; so maybe have Maryse cheat to win the match — this keeps Gail strong for whatever is next for her.
I’d also do a backstage segment planting the seeds for a secondary feud on Raw, giving newcomer Alicia Fox a storyline. This girl continues to impress and I’d like to see that rewarded. I’d like to see Alicia kinda storming into the Divas lockerroom acting like she owns the place and getting into a verbal confrontation with Kelly Kelly. Which leads to a match on Superstars.
ECW
Air Date: Tuesday, July 14th
Following Nikki Bella’s win over Katie Lea last week, I’d say the next step would be to give Brie a shot right? Brie Bella vs Katie Lea, I guess Brie and Nikki would switch to get another win over Katie.
WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, July 16th
Following their altercation on Raw, we’d have Alicia Fox vs Kelly Kelly on Superstars. I think it’d be a cool way to give Alicia some shine by having her get the win over ‘golden girl’ Kelly, even if it is through cheating. They could play up ho Alicia has learned from Michelle and has become a very cunning Diva.
Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, July 17th
After last week’s big brawl after the match, I think they need to announce that Melina will get her rematch against Michelle at Night of Champions. As for a match, I’d like to see Michelle compete in a singles match for a change, rather than Melina. Michelle hasn’t had many singles matches in the past couple of months — Have her beat Eve or Maria and then do another brawl between her and Melina? Maybe have Melina do another ‘boot attack’ like we saw on Beth Phoenix, haha.

Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, June 22nd
I’m kind of expecting/hoping for a Divas Championship match tonight on Raw. It just seems that they’ve done all they can do with this feud and you can’t hold off a title match any longer. With SmackDown getting the pay per view slot, it seems like this match may just occur on Raw. WWE has a tendency to leave the Divas off PPV and book title matches the week of the PPV; so I think this match will fit right in. Plus with tonight’s show being commercial-free, that frees up some time for a championship match.
If they do go that route, I predict Mickie James beats Maryse to become the new Divas Champion.
WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, June 25th
We haven’t seen Gail Kim in a long time & she’s not exactly part of any storylines at the moment. Superstars seems to be the ‘filler’ show for the brands [see Beth/Rosa vs the Bella Twins]. In keeping with that, I’d have Gail Kim vs Alicia Fox, just to give them both some TV time with Gail going over.
Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, June 26th
The final show before The Bash on Sunday. With Melina getting a match last week, I’d give Michelle McCool a squash match against Eve or Maria. Afterwards, Melina comes out and brawls with Michelle. Michelle makes a quick getaway and we have an intense staredown before Sunday.
The Bash
Air Date: Sunday, June 28th
Women’s Championship on the line between Melina and Michelle McCool. I think we should/could have new champions across the board, Michelle wins following Mickie’s win on Raw tonight.

Raw-Due to Gail Kim’s Victory over Mayrse last week.I would say Gail & Beth face off one on one and the winner Joins Mayrse & Mickie at NOC.I would have the match be a No Contest due to Mayrse running in and attacking Beth & Gail.
Then backstage Tood Interviews Mickie on why she thinks Mayrse went to the ring and attacked Beth & Gail. Mickie says because Mayrse is scared to Face her one on one.Then Mayrse comes out of no where and attacks Mickie.
Then Later that Night its announced that The Divas Title Match at NOC has no Become a Fatal-4-way Elimantion Match.
ECW-I would have Brie Face off Against Katie,With Katie winning due to the distraction of Nikkie.Then after the match I would have Nikkie & Brie argue and Brie pushes Nikki,Starting a REAlLued between these two.
SuperStars:I would have Alicia Fox vs Kelly Kelly.Alicia Winning
Smackdown:I woud want to see Natalya vs Melina.Natalya Picking up the win.
RAW – I think now Raw’s back on track & with 2 new divas to the roster, we can have different matches. I dont know whats going to happen but i do see maryse pinning gail via cheating. After the match, mickie comes down to the ring and DDT’s maryse.
ECW – Well i dont care what happens as long as katie lea wins, she is SOOOO underrated & should be put on smackdown or have the ecw smackdown share brands except not the males but just the divas.
SUPERSTARS – either a random tag match or maryse vs kelly or layla vs maria.
SMACKDOWN – I’d have michelle beat eve, then melina comes down the ring and attacks michelle afterwards.
Raw- I also think that Maryse will beat Gail by cheating and Mickie will run Maryse off.
ECW- I think Katie will lose to Brie this week unfortunately.
WWE Superstars- I doubt their will be a divas match.
Smackdown- Sense this week it will be in Layla’s hometown of Miami, it might be Layla vs Melina, with Melina winning and Michelle will attack her after the match.
ECW – Brie Bella defeats Katie Lea after switching with Nikki. After the match, Katie Lea attacks Nikki and hits her with a backbreaker, Brie is on the outside watching. After this, Brie enters the ring to go see her sister, only to be pushed away by Nikki.
SmackDown! – Melina defeats Layla, Maria and Eve in a 4-Way divas match by pinning Layla. [Maria acts a little heelish during the match]. After the match, Natalya appears and says that she will get a chance at gold if she defeats Melina next week on SmackDown!
Nice predictions Melanie, I hope we get to see Jillian on RAW, maybe on the backstage segment with Kelly and Alicia, on the background acting silly. I hope we get an Alicia V.S. K2 feud.
For ECW Brie Probably will beat Katie then Katie attacks Brie or Nikki after the switch, after the match only to be double teamed and be tossed outside the ring
after that katie is yelling at tiffany in the back and tiffany understands her and makes a match for wwe superstars the Bella Twins vs Katie Lea and a new diva due to the superstar initiative (Beverly,Jemma,Miss April or Serena) to defeat the Bella Twins after a communication problem between the sisters and after the match they argue once again
Raw-Maryse vs. Gail
Gail picks up the win, Maryse attacks her, Mickie “makes the save” (possibly a triple threat at NOC?)
ECW-Brie vs. Katie
Katie is in control for most of the match, Brie goes outside and Nikki offers to switch but Brie says she’s got it, Nikki goes in the ring and so does Brie, Brie hits Katie and the ref DQ’s her because he doesn’t know if it was Nikki or Brie. Brie leaves and Nikki follows, Katie stands in the ring feeling triumphant.
Superstars-Jillian vs. Mickie?
Mickie picks up the win in a short match and Jillian attacks and Maryse comes out follows suit.
SmackDown-Michelle vs. Eve
Melina makes her way out to be guest commentator after Michelle & Eve. Squash match, Michelle wins and stares Melina down. Melina gets up and Michelle leaves up the ramp and we see a repeat of the Beth boot-attack!
just when Raw takes two steps forward they go and take 6 giants leaps backward!!!!
