‘Creative Team Meeting’ is back! This is the feature where we look at the week of WWE television ahead and offer our opinion on how the Creative Team should book each show when it comes to the Divas.
Welcome back to a new round of creative solutions to the week’s TV! After doing dual tapings two weeks ago, Raw returns to it’s live format this week while SmackDown and ECW tape tomorrow night. So let’s see how I would book the week ahead…
Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, July 20th
Last week, Maryse pinned Mickie in the swimsuit match. I think she should continue to gain some momentum this week only to drop the title on Sunday. I’m going to carry over my idea from last week: Maryse pins Gail in receipt of her win two weeks ago. This sets up Maryse strong for the PPV, where I expect she’ll lose to Mickie.
ECW
Air Date: Tuesday, July 21st
I don’t know where they can take the Bellas vs Katie Lea feud, so maybe they should find a different direction to go in — maybe capitalising on the tension between the two on their first night on ECW a few weeks back. Maybe do another match between Bella vs Katie, but have them miscommunicate and botch the switcheroo and thus get disqualified leading to some words between Brie and Nikki.
WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, July 23rd
Don’t think there will be one, but if they do have a match I expect it will be Eve vs Natalya.
Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, July 24th
With Night of Champions around the corner, Michelle and Melina need to appear this week after being left off last week. I was going to carry over my idea from last week but instead I think I’ll give Melina a bit of shine because it’s obvious she will lose at the PPV. Maybe have Melina & Eve vs Michelle & Natalya, with Melina pinning Michelle.
Night of Champions
Air Date: Sunday, July 26th
Mickie James goes over Maryse for the Divas Championship. Michelle retains over Melina.

Monday Night Raw
Air Date: Monday, June 22nd
I’m kind of expecting/hoping for a Divas Championship match tonight on Raw. It just seems that they’ve done all they can do with this feud and you can’t hold off a title match any longer. With SmackDown getting the pay per view slot, it seems like this match may just occur on Raw. WWE has a tendency to leave the Divas off PPV and book title matches the week of the PPV; so I think this match will fit right in. Plus with tonight’s show being commercial-free, that frees up some time for a championship match.
If they do go that route, I predict Mickie James beats Maryse to become the new Divas Champion.
WWE Superstars
Air Date: Thursday, June 25th
We haven’t seen Gail Kim in a long time & she’s not exactly part of any storylines at the moment. Superstars seems to be the ‘filler’ show for the brands [see Beth/Rosa vs the Bella Twins]. In keeping with that, I’d have Gail Kim vs Alicia Fox, just to give them both some TV time with Gail going over.
Friday Night SmackDown
Air Date: Friday, June 26th
The final show before The Bash on Sunday. With Melina getting a match last week, I’d give Michelle McCool a squash match against Eve or Maria. Afterwards, Melina comes out and brawls with Michelle. Michelle makes a quick getaway and we have an intense staredown before Sunday.
The Bash
Air Date: Sunday, June 28th
Women’s Championship on the line between Melina and Michelle McCool. I think we should/could have new champions across the board, Michelle wins following Mickie’s win on Raw tonight.

Raw- Maryse vs. Gail
Mickie runs out, Maryse wins, Mickie and Maryse have a staredown.
ECW- Abraham W. could interview Katie Lea.
She can talk some trash(but i do question her mic skills), The Bellas could come out and have a 2-on-1 catfight.
Superstars- I don’t expect a divas match from any brand.
SmackDown- Melina & Eve vs Michelle & Natalya.
It would be a good match to build up on 2 feuds.
Eve is in the ring most of the match, Melina gets the hot tag and pins Natalya.
Night Of Champions-
Mickie vs Maryse
I love Maryse but its been a long time coming and I think Mickie will win, even though Maryse still has a chance of retaining.
Melina vs Michelle
Michelle could dominate and Melina get an upset? (WWE could follow TNA and have Michelle have a short reign)
or Michelle could win…
Raw- I agree with rockinred have maryse vs. gail, maryse cheats or something Mickie comes out but they have some mic time
ECW- Nikki Bell and Yoshi (whats his name) w/ Brie bella b/ Katie lea and Paul Burchil but have a switharoo which almost gets caught by the ref and they fight a but backstage
Superstars:
Eve vs. Natalya I think Eve should win this time, maybe with a Moonsult of the top rope, if she can do one
Smackdown
I am sick of Seeing tag team matches so I would like to See Melina b/ Layla but afterwards Michelle attack afterwards,

Smackdown: Melina Vs Layla W/ Michelle Mccool Watching Outside The Ring-Melina Wins Over Layla And Melina & Michelle Catfight Inside The ring.

Divas Championship Match: Mickie Defeat Maryse And Wins The Title.
Women’s Championship Match: Michelle Defeat Melina Ad Retains The Belt.
