Usually battle royals are the sign of lazy booking, but I’m actually quite excited to see a battle royal with this group of Knockouts. It looks like Traci’s return to television will have some meaning too.
No mention of Ayako Hamada here, so I guess she’ll debut at one of the upcoming tapings later this week.

Yes finally Traci has something to do and I’m so glad TNA actually gave her a good storyline and on top of that it’s with the biggest stable in TNA
Most of the battle royals with the Knockouts have been very good. Unlike WWE, TNA does know how to put on multi-women matches. For those of you who don’t know, Traci Brooks hasn’t been on for a while because she injured herself during the Middle East tour and burned her breast and implant, so she has been absent because she needed to have her implant replaced to keep it from poisoning her. She’s a very good manager, so she’ll definitely be good in her role if she’s set to be a manager for the Mafia.

Wow, this sounds very interesting. Traci is coming back into a great storyline. I wonder how she will coexist with Jenna and Sharmell if they are still parts of the mafia.
I’d never thought I’d say this but…I’m glad Traci won the battle royal. Can you imagine Awesome Kong or Tara as the valet of Main Event Mafia?! Hell no, Ms. Brooks is the right woman to do it. I’m kind of excited to see the match, so much talent in there. I wonder how Sarita and Alyssa will “click” with all the other knockouts. No signs of Rhaka Khan or Christy Hemme in there (YAY !!)…
I’m not a big fan of hers. She’s alright but hopelessly outclassed by many others at this point. Ideally, the new Mafia member should’ve been someone who had actually been near a title before and hopefully this doesn’t mean Traci is getting pushed to the top. I can take her as a valet but not as the champion considering how many others would do a considerably better job in that role.
@Matt: The only one that’d be a reasonable fit is either Tara or Gail since they are the more .. “high-profile” major title holders as far as women go to have entered TNA? Traci on longevity alone is a reasonable fit if there just HAS to be a knockout in their stable. Plus she just might sill hold some “pull” as a Knockout Law who can make matches in her favor to screw others out until Jarrett or someone yanks it from under her (which gives her heel character even more attention).
I’m kinda glad I read it all the way because when I seen “Special Guest Ref: Traci Brooks” I immediately thought “back to the same old same I see.”
Wow! All this change following Victory Road and the allegations of the TNA founder in a relationship with the ex-wife of their biggest star. Really don’t know how TNA would be if Angle gets creative control…
I was guessing that the Knockouts division would stay separate from the Mafia stuff. Wow, what a swerve with the returning Traci becoming to KO member of the Mafia. So will she be chasing the title? Will Angelina Love have to turn face now? With them taping 3 more shows this week, I hope there’s some explanation of the title situation at the PPV (Slick Johnson) as well as some mention of the Sarita/Flash stuff. Plus Ayako Hamada. I am hoping the division isn’t facing any drastic changes with this apparently new direction (the rest of the spoilers for this week’s Impact show). Perhaps things will look clearer on TV than on paper.

Slight problem with the booking here. Sharmell & Jenna have just had a ‘match’ over the fact that there’s only room for one woman in the MEM. Will they both suddenly forget their arguments and welcome Traci? Hmm!
I definitely smell gold around Traci’s waist very soon. The Main Even Mafia has almost every title in TNA (Heavyweight, Tag Team, Legends). Somoa Joe will beat Homocide for the X-division title, and Traci will beat Angelina Love for the Knockouts. Main Event Mafia= Gold.
This is stupid, like anyone cares about who joins the MEM. I am more interested in the title, what the hell has happened with that?
They shouldn’t have had a catfight backstage. They need somethin bigger to promote a PPV match. As 4 eve vs natalya i luv eve. gud she’s gettin ring time.
I just really hope she’s not getting the belt anytime soon. She hasn’t done anything of note since way back when she was feuding with Ms. Banks like a year and a half ago. It would just be a scar on the lineage. The only people that should be near that title are the women who are either amazing workers or decent workers but insanely over, of which Brooks is neither.
