To play off the simmering feud between Alissa Flash and Sarita as well as last week’s encounter between Traci Brooks and Taylor Wilde, last night’s TNA Impact set the tone for a respective heel vs. face tag team match.

Traci Brooks and Taylor Wilde start off the match with Taylor embracing Traci from behind and tossing her over with an arm drag.  Taylor runs the ropes and cartwheels over Traci, leading her into a second arm drag and a kick to the midsection.  Traci counters an Irish Whip which sends Taylor to the corner.  Traci suffers another stiff kick to the ribs and Taylor sets her up for an innovative flip off of the top turnbuckle.  Traci exits the ring to collect herself and soon tags in Alissa Flash.

Taylor and Alissa begin to get a feel for each other through a series of discouraged offense, but before any chemistry between them can be further explored, Taylor tags in Sarita.  Alissa delivers a kick and a chop, but Sarita counters with a headscissors takedown.  She then avenges Alissa’s chops in the corner.  Alissa follows Sarita into the opposite corner where Sarita flips her over with a springboard arm drag.  While Alissa and Traci catch a breather on the outside, Sarita, with an assist from Taylor Wilde, delivers an awe-inspiring diving crossbody to their opposition onto the floor.  As TNA takes another look, Sarita’s fluidity is aptly deemed by Don West as “poetry in motion.”

Watch the match and more after the cut:

Taylor Wilde goes for the 3-count on Alissa Flash, who kicks out just in time.  Alissa tosses Taylor to the ropes and Taylor is hung up by an interference from Traci.  Traci receives a kick to her head for her troubles, but Alissa Flash attacks Taylor from behind.  A spinning scoop slam onto Taylor, and Alissa goes for the pinfall.  Unsuccessful, she tags in Traci Brooks.  Traci loosens Taylor up with a stinging slap against the chest and chokes her against the ropes.  Taylor is roughly taken down by a clothesline.  Traci’s attempts result in a couple of near-falls.  Traci then takes a cheap shot at Sarita while she and her partner take advantage of the distraction.  Taylor Wilde’s face bounces off of the mat in result of the brutal standing deathlock surfboard also known as the “curbstomp” courtesy of Alissa Flash.  Taylor kicks out.  Traci is tagged in and continues to do her best to cut the ring in half.  Taylor fights back and both Knockouts are taken down in a collision.  The referee begins to count, but both women manage to tag out.

A very fresh Sarita makes quick work of both Traci and Alissa Flash.  With an impressive handstand transition off of Traci, she fights out of Alissa’s hold and wraps her into a unique surfboard armbar and headscissor submission.  Traci interrupts the hold and is taken out by Taylor Wilde.  Alissa sets Sarita up for a slam, but Sarita envelopes her into a crucifix and a small package for the win.

As Sarita and Taylor Wilde celebrate their victory, they are blindly attacked by their adversaries.  Pandering to the crowd, Alissa Flash disposes of Sarita with a modified version of the Great Sasuke’s Michinoku Driver.

The ongoing feud between ODB and Angelina Love has brought upon a Knockout title opportunity, as I predicted.  Thus, a match has been announced at Hard Justice.  Backstage with Lauren, the Beautiful People discuss the terms of a Four-Corners match that will occur next week among ODB, Angelina Love, Awesome Kong, and Victoria as well as the impending PPV match-up that will place Velvet Sky in Angelina Love’s corner as well as Cody Deaner in ODB’s.  Looks like Madison Rayne gets the shaft once again.

Watch the segment below:

The Beautiful People Backstage Segment

There isn’t any development towards the Victoria and Kong rivalry.  Otherwise, this was a decent week for the Knockouts.  I must admit, Traci does a believable job now that she’s back in heel bitch mode.  However, the dynamic between her and Taylor wears a bit thin.  There’s not much explanation there besides Taylor explaining how she looked up to Traci and that Traci let her down.  Whatever. Now that we have a title match at Hard Justice in the works, we’ll just have to see if the Tara/Kong feud can possibly spill into the PPV event as well.

Don West seemed to be high on the Knockouts this week with his sugar-coated compliments of their in-ring work.  Early in the match, he describes Sarita as a female X-division wrestler and even goes onto claim that “there is no women’s division in the world that can even touch what the Knockouts bring.”  Hmm, trying to redeem your comments from a couple weeks, I see.  Well, it is nice to get some confirmation, eh?

  1. i not liking tayler attire like when she as pants on
also alissa attire dosent suit her her cheerleader 1 does.
if they give odb the tilte god help us

  2. GREAT tag team match, Taylor and Traci were good, but Alissa and Sarita are the real stars in my opinion!!
I will never get tired of Alissa’s attires, she is SOOOOOOOO fierce it hurts, she would show personality even dressed as a playboy bunny! Sarita is really hot and an awesome athlete, but her gimmick is a little annoying and those fugly attires need to leave!
TBP can take GREAT promos, those girls sure know how to act, I only wish Velvet was that good inside the ring…

  3. That was an awesome match. I think Taylor is hugely underrated; people write her off as ‘bland’ and just another blonde, true we have seen many of those in wrestling before, but the girl wrestles her heart out. I absolutely love the high-flying style so Sarita has won me over already, she’s incredible. Alissa is an intense wrestler, I like her brash style. Traci, I’ve never been a huge fan, she can wrestle but there’s nothing standout about her style.

I also noticed Don West’s commentary this week, it was a nice change to see him talk up the girls and actually say insightful stuff.

  4. This match was all kinds of awesome! Once again, super impressed with Sarita and Alissa. Taylor was also great this week, but surprisingly Traci is the one that caught my attention. With Traci flaunting her sexuality all the time, it’s easy to forget that she’s a good wrestler. Like Melanie said, there’s nothing groundbreaking about her style, especially when compared to the other girls in this match, but I really think she held her own in the match and showed that she could be a contender if given the chance.

I wish they would have built more on the Kong-Tara storyline but with four feuds taking place at once, someone has to get the short straw…

  5. Brilliant match, TNA triumphs once again this week over Raw and SD, but its hardly surprising given their calibre of women.

I’m in the vast minority i know; but I’m more interested in the Beautiful People vs ODB than Tara vs Kong.

  6. They don’t explaini it well, but Taylor and Traci have lots of history together. They both started training at Rob Feugo’s Squared Circle, and came through BSE when starting out. It’s completely plausible Shantelle got her start from Traci.

  7. loved the match, great showing by all of them. And TBP – best women talkers ever on mainstream tv or what??

I, too, am verging on being more excited for the ODB/TBP feud. Mainly because there’s so many different endgames I can think of (Cody turning heel, Velvet costing Love the match, maybe teasing tension again?) Whereas Tara, for me, could believably beat Kong so it’s not as exciting as Gail/Kong, Taylor/Kong or even Love/Kong were. Hope that makes sense of sort.

    Oh, and great write-up Tiffany.

  8. TNA should really continue to push the Alissa/Sarita fued, because those two do not disapoint in the ring!

  9. Sarita owns the ring. All the hype was justified.

  10. the only thing i didn’t like was the small pakage/roll-up finish. people got bored real quick of taylor because of that, and i don’t wish for the same to happen with sarita.

  11. This match was SWEET!I loved it.Sarita pwned the match, and rightfully so.But Traci’s new bitchy side is kick ass!!!!I love it!

  12. That match had me breathless at some points. It flowed very well, with Taylor and Sarita making a good tag team with similar styles. I admit I was kinda bored with Taylor the last few weeks, but she was anything but boring last night. It was also good to see Traci back in the ring – she didn’t wow me like the other 3 but she holds her own.

  13. That match was just great. Everything went together well, and I was surprised by how good of a team that Traci and Alissa made. I expected Taylor Wilde and Sarita to make a good partnership, but I wasn’t as sure about them. I think that I honestly am most excited for the Alissa Flash and Sarita feud. Those two never fail to impress me. I also love Alissa’s attire and makeup.

  14. GO SARITA AND TAYLOR,this is now my favorite tag team? in the TNA knockouts division, there a perfect team

this match was AMAZING,they really embarassed the divas, lol.IMO,this was the best womens tag match in the history of womens wrestling

alissa flash is soooo HOT,she’s like the michelle mccool of TNA,she’s such a bully and so aggressive.sarita or alissa need to be knockout champion, angelina is not a good champion, she doesn’t do anything

great job tiffany, you get the best redux

  15. Absolutely brilliant womens wrestling action, finally yet again we are seeing female wrestlers who really know how to work a match being given time to shine on television, not just on the Independent circuit. This is what I and many others have been waiting to see – I loved this match and hope we get this sort of womens action each week now on TNA. All 4 women gelled so well together in this match, a combination of aerial and lucha moves from Sarita and Taylor mixed with a more brawler style of Traci and the always-amazing style of Alissa Flash. I’m hyping so much for TNA’s womens division right now!

  16. I agree with Melanie that Taylor is very much underatted in TNA, her matches with Daffney earlier in the year were fantastic and quite overlooked. This match was really good as a tag team match where all Knockouts had time to show off there skills, something the wwe doesn’t get with there numerous tag team matches. I look forward to seeing alot more of all 4 knockouts as i’ve never been much of a Traci fan.

  17. I thought the match was good. Traci was alright in the match, but I saw a load of mistakes by her, then again this was her first match in over a year. This was the first time I watched Sarita but to me she was too much hype. All I could see from her is just a load of flashy moves that is all. Except from that she is nothing special. Alissa was very good and showed quite a good few moves. Taylor was good as well.

I found it funny that in TBP promo, Angelina mentioned Velvet yet she didn’t even mention Madison by name. It just shows how much TNA care about Madison.

  18. Sarita and Alissa could easily have some good matches, even Match of the Year candidate if given proper storyline development. They easily deserve a PPV match, but with TNA’s inconsistent booking, I doubt we will see it anytime soon. TNA needs to capitalize on the potential Sarita/Alissa feud, and let Alissa cut a promo, and have her beat Sarita, as she’s been bested by her two times already. This could easily be on the same level as Lita/Trish Stratus feud was.

Poor Madison, we have multiple knockout feuds going on, and with Tara/Love feud being ended abruptly, she seem’s to be lost in the transition. For the love of god, why can’t they use her. My guess is, TNA will answer the pleas, and unfortunately use her, and the horrible “slut” gimmick on Cody Deaner. I expect Deaner to be caught in a compromising situation with Madison…$5 says it happens.

  19. I agree dan333, Madison is overwhelmed to be in TNA, a dream goal of hers and she is treated as an outsider, when she is undeniabley one of the most talented wrestlers in the TNA Womens Division.

  20. Why does everyone hate Sarita’s ring attire? I think it’s cool but then again I have been told I have no fashion sense. Well I care not, I will continue to dress in in black t-shirts and goth cargo pants whilst admiring Sarita’s abs in any outfit she chooses to wear.. Everything about Sarita is super hot. She is NOT just flashy moves, which btw take great skill and daring to pull off. She is all about great energy and athleticism.

Kudos to TNA for making their woman’s division even more awesome with the addition of Sarita and Alissa.
