Former SHIMMER and OVW star, Serena has been renamed in WWE’s developmental camp, FCW. She now goes by the name of Serena Mancini.
It’s certainly a start, hopefully they’ll end up dropping the ‘Mancini’ and just go with Serena by the time she’s on the main roster.
FCW is touting a swimsuit competition between the Divas of the territory at it’s End of Summer Bash on August 28th. Serena, Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes are advertised as competing as is someone by the name of Liviana. We’ll see which future Diva blasphemed to earn that name, in the coming weeks I guess.

I hope the name change means she’s closer to being called up. Smackdown needs a fresh face and one that can wrestle, too.

Liviana, looks amazing! and im not keen on Serena’s new name but like you said, hopefully when she is called up its just ‘Serena’ glad they didnt drop the Serena part because i really like that name for her. Anyway for me FCW Divas are looking good at the moment and i cant wait for them to all debut, but i am whilling to wait instead of them all getting crammed into a roster on smackdown or raw or ecw and not get used

I don’t think that WWE needs a new diva atm and if they were to get one they would have to get rid of some of their current divas, or at least one. *coughmariacough* Anyway, I don’t like Serena’s orangeness.
