For what it’s worth, Candice Michelle‘s name was briefly brought up at last week’s Impact tapings, a source tells Diva Dirt.
Whether it will lead to anything substantial is speculative at this point. But for Candice fans holding out hope, there was a mention or two of her name.
With TNA launching a tag team division, I assumed it could tie into that but there’s no current Knockouts that could really bring in Candice as a tag team partner, other than Tara who’s already working with Christy Hemme.
Candice was released from WWE on June 17th, shortly after being cleared for in-ring competition. That date would put her 90-day no compete expiration at around September 17th.

oh no, don’t do this TNA for christ sake. Well when I read possible tag team partner, Tara wasn’t the first person to come to mind, but instead that Trina Michaels person, there talking about bringing in. Either way, just don’t do it TNA.

Bringing Candice to TNA would more than likely bring in more ratings, Candice Michelle has an enormous fan base, and if TNA was to hire Candice Michelle I’d hope that they’d train her because most if not all of the TNA Knockout’s are extremely talented. For the exception of Sky whose decent, Traci whose decent, and Jenna whose just awful!

I agree with WWEDivasFan09. Candice was one of the most Popular girls in WWE. So I think she will be a great addition to the roster. She have the Womens Championship in her Resume so I think it will be great. They Should Fire Jenna and Hire Candice!
NO, NO, NO and…NO! She wasn’t an awful wrestler, but in comparison to the majority of Knockouts, she lacks A LOT of in-ring talent. Her fan base wasn’t that big in her final years, only old perverts and easily impressed little girls cared for her! She got less cheers than every other face diva in the roster, that says all.
Besides, TNA’s women roster is already packed, and they already have Hemme and Velvet, so why would Candice bring any prestige to the company?! If they want to piss off WWE they’ll prob hire her, but if they take a close look at some of Candice’s matches…

Candice has alot of PR behind her name. She attends ALOT of events outside the wrestling world and being tagged as a TNA Knockout would be great PR for them.
While ratings obviously wouldn’t go through the roof, she’s managed to keep a pretty strong fanbase considering how much she’s been out of the ring, etc.
If anything, it would be best for them to pick her up for PR alone.
Candice really isn’t as bad in the ring as people think. Sucks she never got used when she came back from her injury, but IMO she seemed more seasoned from what I saw (mainly houseshows) and heard. But that’s just my opinion.
Plus she’s looking much better these days ever since leaving the WWE IMO as well.
Hopefully TNA does hire Candice, Even if they dont want to have her in a In-Ring role she could be a Valet but hopefully if she does get hired she gets a really good partner for the Tag Division.
erm….watch the match between her and Beth in February and tell me she didnt work well in that match. She sold perfectly… better than Mickie anyway…
She won PWI and WWE Women wreslter and most improved wreslter in 2007. PWI Put her #10 last year in the PWI Female 50. PWI are expert in wreslting (Well exept this year they put mickie #1). So I think if they put her in top of most KO(Exept Kong,Roxi, Gail), she have potential to be in TNA. She have a lot of Pasion and Dedication. If they put her in Training she will become better.
If they’re going to make her manage someone I’m ok with it but if there going to make her wrestle like WWE did then no I don’t want her in TNA
plain and simple here guys. The beautiful people are no more, With Angelina Love being released from the company due to an expired visa. It would actually be a perfect fit to bring Candice in, as the new leader of TBP. She could shove in the faces of every other knockout the fact that she was on the Super bowl ad’s for three years, She had one of the biggest selling Playboy issues of all of the “other” women of wrestling.
I believe that with good writing (please read this Vince Russo) that she could take over TBP, and really make something of it. You thought that it was a heel group before, Imagine if they let Candice break bad for a while. That would make for a few great feud’s
