On this, the month of the inception of Diva Dirt two years ago, we felt we needed to take some time out to celebrate one of the Divas that has given us endless amounts of material to write about.
Oh Maria, we’ve had our ups and downs haven’t we? We may not always like what you’re wearing [okay, all the time!], we may not think you’re the best wrestler, nor will we ever understand your obsession with animal print. But truth be told Ms Kanellis, we wouldn’t have you any other way! The fact that you grace us with your ~followage~ on Twitter suggests that you, yourself, don’t take our words to heart and accept that you can’t win ‘em all. C’est la vie, as B*Witched used to say…
It shows us that you have a sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously, where some of our readers [read: your fans] may jump on us. We are not ~srs bsns~ and we thank you for being who you are, doing what you do and giving us lots to write about each and every week!
We hope your choice of wardrobe continues to perplex us for many moons to come; after all what fun would it be if we didn’t try to solve a problem like Maria?

Aww im not Marias biggest fan but I cant help but like her in a way lol, i think theres something about her thats kinda innocent and I kinda feel sorry for her!!

Either way Maria is one of, if not the most popular female in the WWE. And I liked her WM24 attire.
It is sincere, Maria has given us a lot to write about. We may not be huge fans but what would we do without her? Plus she follows us on Twitter which shows she takes it light-heartedly too and we love that because nothing on this site is ~srs bsns~ as much as people may construe it as such, but obviously we get it and she gets it otherwise she wouldn’t follow us!

im not against maria by any mean i think she is cute…
her attires r strange but its her persona…but the only thing is her in ring work i remember she looked better when she was new in raw during vince’s devils era!!

Hey, Come On! Maria’s taste in fashion is not that bad! Plus i personally think Maria can actually wrestle, and that WWE is not giving her time to shine. I mean at Wrestlemania 24(BunnyMania) she totally kicked ass and her only time she got hit in the match was when Beth hit her finisher on Maria! Plus the headscissors takedown she hit Alicia Fox at WWE Superstars a couple months back when she team with Gail Kim was delivered like a pro (very Lita like). She has the perfect package, good mic skills, good in-ring skills, good looks. what more do you need. maybe u guys should lessen the Maria bashing just a little!
I may not always agree with Maria’s fashion choices, and she may not be the best wrestler, but I still love Maria! She seems like a genuinally lovely person, and she has good mic skills, which always help.

So yeah, in terms of wrestling, Maria is THE worst thing since Ashley Massaro got released. Here’s hoping she quits wrestling and becomes a full-time [slut] entertainer!
I don`t wanna say this but i think maria is getting fired next year cuz lts look at the pattern christy torrie ashley candice they all posed for playboy & they all got a chance to wrestle at wrestlemania then there career went downfall with a trade to either raw or smackdown & then they barely made appearences on the show & then later on the year they were all released the same thing is happening with maria….but lets hope I’m wrong
@m5g1ggl35 Torrie asked to be released. She was in pain and needed a lifestyle change. And Ashley asked to be released too.
Here’s the thing with Maria, she seems like a sincerely nice gal, but she isn’t a good wrestler, mostly because she hasn’t had sufficient training. Her clotheslines need work, her forearms need work, and she needs to work a bit on running the ropes, etc.
Her strengths are her personality and her status among the WWE Universe. A lot of people already liked her because of her bubbly interview character that created some really amusing moments. But she was solidified as a fan favorite when she teamed with Jeff Hardy, and imitated his ring entrance. After that she was involved with Santino in a story line and recieved her palyboy push.
(um if this post doesn’t make sense, it’s because it’s 3 am and I had far too many sweets and more caffein then I’m used to).
I think they should take Maria off TV for a bit and just have her train non-stop and get her REALLY good. She has the potential to be great, but it just seems like she hasn’t had enough training. Then bring her back when she’s amazing and give her a push.

No! I don’t think she’ll get released.. I think they would build her storyline with Dolph Ziggler, Melina and even better if theyll mix Michelle McCool in it..
I acctually loved Maria’s style :O its hott + rockish :)
