The folks at Wrestlicious, the upcoming all-female promotion, directed us to this video clip highlighting Wrestlicious and owner, JV Rich on last night’s ABC News. That can be seen after the cut. Note: The video autoplays.
Additionally, in response to a recent report from one major news site that Wrestlicious hasn’t locked a TV deal of yet, the company assures fans that they are due to launch in late fall as planned.

Jimmy Hart’s Mickey Mouse voice still annoys me lol.
While it does look like a complete rip of GLOW I think it looks fun. Some of the women in it are serious wrestlers too. It’s an interesting way to invest your millions. Hope that it does get picked up by TV.

I’ll watch at least the first few episodes to see if the get that GLOW nostalgia.
Actually, the GLOW nostalgia might not be a good place to aim.
I remember it being called Hee-Haw with wrestling back in the day.
Hey! Maybe they should bring Hee-Haw back too!
But if Wrestlicious is a hit (stranger things have happened), will that make WWE and TNA really work on their women’s divisions?

Melanie, seeing the WLTX call letters on the byline of the J-V clip out of Columbia, SC, WLTX is the CBS station in the capitol of South Carolina on channel 19. WOLO is the ABC station there.
