awesome, this was an amazing mailbag,i enjoyed listening to it,thanks for reading my questions melanie, now i gotta think of some new questions for next week:D
I have a question… Have you noticed that the ECW Divas Rarley Wrestle? What’s up with that. I know it’s a one hour show but in WWE Superstars they atleast get to wrestle a bit.
Thanks for answering my question, Melanie. I understand the answer you gave to the question as well. I know she’s a big Gracie Jiu Jitsu follower and practices it to no end, and she loves to dance…a lot.
Again, I know I’m in the minority, but I would love to see Eve as one of the top WWE Divas someday. I think she belongs with the group you mentioned at the end of the show as those that should be the future of the WWE Divas.
Thanks for answering my questions and picking me as star question hehe :)
I agree with you about seeing it from the E’s point of view about attractive women, I just wish theyd find a happy medium like you say! Also yeah building new stars is a must indeed.
OMG Melanie! I swear we are on the same wavelength when you were talking about making new stars. LOL
If only WWE would hire you, at least the women’s division would be as exciting as it once was if not better. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the mailbag this week!
Great Mailbag, I totally agree 100% with the comments about Lita being over-rated, I have said this for years. But the Lita marks always got angry at me about it because they think the fact she could do a Moonsault and Top-Rope Hurricanrana meant she was a great wrestler. But that’s false. Thanks for answering my question, I tried to ask something different that nobody else would ask. I guess your right that the best women from WCW already ended up in WWE and TNA. Like my Daffney of course lol. I’d love to see Madusa do a brief return though – like the bring the male legends back – they should bring a female wrestling legend back for a short stint. Or Gorgeous George – I know she was in TNA briefly, but I’d love to see her back because she was so fun and charismatic.
Wow this was only the 2nd episode and it was awesome. Thanks for answering my questions…Love the pick for you to manage and the response about Candice was awesome. THANKS!
lol i like lita
but i agree she was kind of a danger to some divas
Thanks for answering my question….not my first pick out of the two… and personally my most over rated diva was Trish Stratus. Idk why people like her so much i found her boring and actually a fake mean person. Even when she was “nice” she had a fake bitchy feel to her. Plus she basically was just the new sable and took all the credit for it. If Sable had stayed there would be no Trish…one can only dream…..
Both Lita and Trish seemed to get that overrated stigma later on in their careers. I always liked both of them. Not everyone is going to be a good technical wrestler or high-flyer. I actually liked Lita’s style better once she came back after her neck injury as it was more ground-based. With Trish it was because she was always at the forefront once she transitioned from valvet to wrestler.
You love Christian! I love him too, lol
Great mailbag, as always.
I think that if Candice was still around, the popular opinion on her would have skyrocketed. She wouldnt be known as a one time wonder like she does now.
And i think Lita is overrated simply because she was just the original lucha diva. Now everyone is doing lucha type moves so they’re not pop-worthy anymore.
