The experiment has come to an end… ‘Celebrity’ Knockout, Jenna Morasca is done with TNA, reports PWInsider.
The former Survivor winner’s contract reached it’s conclusion and was not renewed.
In July, Morasca took part in the worst Knockouts match in history (and that’s a tough thing to do!) against Sharmell at Victory Road.
Last month, it was reported that Jenna would be taking a leave of absence to film the 20th season of Survivor, but it now looks as though she’s gone altogether.
With Morasca now gone, it begs the question — what was the point? Her ‘celebrity stature’ didn’t help ratings and drew ire & the wrong kind of infamy for an awful, awful pay per view match. A few column inches on trash like Perez Hilton, is worth it apparently.
Meanwhile, the real losers here are TNA and the other Knockouts as Morasca is likely laughing all the way to the bank. The company no doubt shelled out big bucks for the ‘experiment’, possibly more so than the Knockouts that can actually wrestle and/or are actually over earn. What a crock…

I can’t help but laugh at how stupid TNA was. I have no respect for Jenna, she’s trailer trash and she deserved to be sued by every wrestler alive! Sued for sucking!!

They could have donated that money to charity.

I bet you TNA is kicking themselves right now. But whatever, can’t say I’ll miss her on TV.

I won’t be too sad, if at all, to see her go. She definitely doesn’t belong in a wrestling company, but that doesn’t make her trailer trash – respect for other is nice, people.

@ Kaledrina – She disrespected wrestlers and wrestling fans for getting inside that ring when she knew (I hope) she sucked big time, she disrespected women for wearing that trashy attire!! All she did was slapping in the face everyone that works hard to become a wrestler.
That said, I have no respect for her at all!

Jeff Jarrett brought Jenna to TNA.., so He is the one to blame
This and more reasons in Why JJ should be gone from TNA…

Thank you Lord!

And on the seventh day…the world rejoiced.

why is she trailer trash? she was offered a fat contract and took it. anyone would have done the same if given that much money. tna knew they weren’t signing a wrestler. don’t hate because she won survivor money and then won tna money afterward. she did what she was told to do, even get in the ring. don’t blame her. blame tna management.

I think I speak for everyone else when I say, “It’s about damn time!”
September 3, 2009 at 10:17 pm
@ spiffy – I understand, her choice to sign to TNA was a smart move, she gets money and doesn’t need to do nothing but stand there and look pretty. BUT, why couldn’t she decline the offer to enter a ring and wrestle??! She knew she would suck it up big time, why didn’t she say “no I won’t let people make fun of my terrible in-ring work, so I won’t get inside the ring!”, but nooooo she did and she sucked and people made fun of her terrible in-ring work and I think she deserved it!!

yesssssss,FINALLY she’s gone,it’s about time,this has made my day,have a nice life jenna:D

This doesn’t absolve TNA for attempting the ‘Morasca experiment’ in the first place, but at least they realized their mistake. Eventually.
Na na na na! Na na na na! Hey hey hey! Goodbye!
Here’s hoping they’ll get rid of Sojo Bolt next.
September 3, 2009 at 10:44 pm
NA NA NA NA….you know the rest lol.
Pointless doesn’t even scratch the surface with the hiring of this lady. She brought NOTHING in terms of interest to TNA. If she couldn’t wrestle at least she could have had some mic skills and personality like Sharmell does. But nothing. That feud was useless and that match….my goodness at least the infamy of it has been slightly negated by this release.
She didn’t even look like the millionaire she portrayed on Impact, Sharmell is always dressed like that. I guess the Mafia can say she got caught for tax evasion and the IRS are now on her case lol!

I’d rather see Christy leave. I know that Josie has talent, she showed talent on SHIMMER, so I still have hope that she steps up her game and go back to her SHIMMER-ways.
September 3, 2009 at 11:39 pm
@PedroPedroso ru serious you would rather see christy leave?? lol Jenna was lame and i like how Melanie was being nice and calling her a celebrity because if i am not mistaken we are not back in 2000 when survivor was actually popular so who cares good ridence.lol
September 3, 2009 at 11:48 pm
@ msatimberlake – I’m glad Jenna left. I said that I rather see Christy leave than Sojourner leave.
September 4, 2009 at 12:17 am
Thank god! I stil can’t figure out why TNA even hired her in the first place.
September 4, 2009 at 12:22 am
Woot! First the playboy cover deal was shelved, now this! WOW! It’s been a good week for female wrestling.
I hope I never see that ring entrance AGAIN! So long and good luck!
hopefully, TNA doesn’t mess up like this again.
September 4, 2009 at 1:26 am
shannymac – Probably figured that she’d bring in ratings, but she didn’t, TNA doesn’t need Survivor winner’s to bring in big ratings – they just need their incredible Knockout’s division, minus Jenna.
September 4, 2009 at 3:25 am
YAY! About time!
September 4, 2009 at 12:01 pm
Why are people upset with her? TNA hired her. They are the ones who are supposed to be preserving and respecting wrestling. She just took a job, they’re supposed to be the wrestling company.
September 4, 2009 at 1:59 pm
@JohnHype – but in the end, she accepted to step inside that ring and show us something that could possibly be considered as one of the worst TV moments of the year.
