Former WWE Diva [Ariel] and TNA Knockout [Salinas], Shelly Martinez has come forward and openly discussed her use of cannabis, for the first time. She says she turned to it to help alleviate her prescription drug problem in an article for Paul Heyman’s Heyman Hustle website.
“I realized I was an addict after I had a near-fatal overdose. I almost died,” Shelly recalled, “and I am here to give credit to what saved my life.”
“Cannabis saved my life,” Shelly states in the new video entitled “The Weed Chronicles,” which you can preview exclusively here on THE HEYMAN HUSTLE. “I was going to die,” Shelly stated, “No doubt about it. I was on the wrong path. Now, I’m healthy, happy, pain free, and here to sing the praises of how my life is so much better today because of Cannabis!”

Props for Shelly. Although I’m not a user myself, people go overboard with their negative opinion of weed and the like. It’s only the gateway drug if you allow it to be.

@MarBu13 – True that!

Well, everyone has a different opinion on weed. Therefore, I respect those who want it to be legal and I respect those who do not want it to be legal. My personal opinion is that medical Cannabis should be legal and I thought it was, and so, my opinion for non-medical use of Cannabis is that it should be legal as well. But, this really isn’t a debate – just my thoughts on the whole Cannabis situation. Lmao.

WWEDivaFan09 – I’m pretty sure medical marijuana is legal, I also think I recall reading either a blog or tweet from Shelly saying that she has a Card for it (I think people were likely bitching at her for being a a supposed crackhead or something).
Props to her. I always liked her, in a you-can-tell-she’s-always-honest sense.

Kaledrina – I already knew that Shelley had a card for her medical Cannabis. What I didn’t know was if medical Cannabis was legal or not. So, thank you for answering my question, even though, it wasn’t really much of a question.
